Syrian resistance forces entered the Sednaya Prison, also known as the "Human Slaughterhouse",and released men, women and children who were being detained by the Assad regime.

Hundreds of prisoners were tortured to the point they forgot their own identities. Women were also held captive where they were abused physically and s*xually, children were also kept in the same cells.

Upon being freed by Syrian resistance fighters, the women are in disbelief, they don't know where to go.

Sara's father, Urfan Sharif, her stepmother, Beinash Batool, and her uncle, Faisal Malik, fled to Pakistan shortly after her death. They were later extradited to the UK and charged with murder. During the trial, Urfan Sharif admitted to hitting Sara but claimed it was not intended to kill her. Despite their denials, on December 11, 2024, Sharif and Batool were convicted of murder, while Malik was found guilty of causing or allowing Sara’s death.

Israeli occupiers targeted al-Walidain mosque in the village of Marda, West bank and it on set fire, while also defacing the building’s facade with hateful and racist slogans such as “Revenge” and “Death to Arabs” spray-painted in Hebrew.

Security footage from the scene shows a masked person spray-painting the walls of the mosque and at least two others joining in, one of them carrying a large container into the masjid.

Narrated by Ubādah ibn aṣ-Ṣāmit رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Whoever gets up at night and says: 'Lā ilāha illAllāhu, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shaiʾin qadīr. Alḥamdulillāhi wa-SubḥānAllāhi wa-Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāhu w-Allāhu Akbar wa-Lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata ʾillā bi-llāh.'

لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
الحمد لله وسبحان الله ولا اله الا الله والله اكبر ولا حول ولاقوة إلا بالله

(None has the right to be worshipped but Allāh. He is the Only One and has no partners. For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. Praise be to Allāh and Glory be to Allāh, and There is no God but Allāh, and Allāh is Greatest And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allāh).

And then says: Allāhumma-ġfirlī
اللهم اغفر لي
(O Allāh! Forgive me).

Or invokes (Allāh), he will be responded to, and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted."
