Seek Allāh’s help and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allāh alone. He grants it to whoever He chooses of His servants. The ultimate outcome belongs only to the righteous.

[Sūrah al-ʾAʿrāf, Verse 128]

Righteousness is not in turning your faces towards the east or the west. Rather, the righteous are those who believe in Allāh, the Last Day, the angels, the Books, and the prophets; who give charity out of their cherished wealth to relatives, orphans, the poor, needy travellers, beggars, and for freeing captives; who establish prayer, pay zakah, and keep the pledges they make; and who are patient in times of suffering, adversity, and in the heat of battle. It is they who are true in faith, and it is they who are mindful of Allāh.

ʾUmm Salamah رضي الله عنها reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying:

If any servant of Allāh who suffers a calamity says, what Allah has commanded him:

"ʾInnā Li-llāhi Wa ʾInnā Ilay-hi Rājiʿūn Allāhumma ājirnī fī muṣībatī wa-khlif lī khayran minhā”.

Allāh will give him reward for affliction, and would give him something better than it in exchange.

She (ʾUmm Salamah رضي الله عنها) said: “When Abū Salama رضي الله عنه‎ died. I uttered (these very words) as I was commanded to do by the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. So Allāh gave me better in exchange than him. (I was taken as the wife of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ).”

Whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them, and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He alone is sufficient for them.

Narrated Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎: The Prophet ﷺ said,
"There are two expressions which are very easy for the tongue to say, but they are very heavy in the balance and are very dear to The Beneficent (Allāh), and they are, 'Subḥāna-llāhi wa-bi-ḥamdih' and 'Subḥāna-llāhi l-ʿaẓīm.'"

It was narrated from Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه‎ that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allāh loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that, wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that, earns His wrath.”

Narrated by Asmāʾ رضي الله عنها:
Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you."

My Lord, give us joy in our spouses and offspring. Make us good examples to those who are aware of You

ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما

Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "There is a compulsory Ṣadaqah (charity) to be given for every joint of the human body (as a sign of gratitude to Allāh) everyday the sun rises. To judge justly between two persons is regarded as Ṣadaqah, and to help a man concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his luggage on to it, is also regarded as Ṣadaqah, and (saying) a good word is also Ṣadaqah, and every step taken on one's way to offer the compulsory prayer (in the mosque) is also Ṣadaqah and to remove a harmful thing from the way is also Ṣadaqah."
