*فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ*

✦ Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kasira, wala yagfiruz-zunuba illa ant, Fagfirli magfiratan min indik, wa-arhamni, innaka Antal Gafur-ArRahim.

✦ O Allah, I have wronged myself great injustice. And does not forgive sin except You . so forgive me for forgiveness from you, and mercy on me, No doubt You are very Forgiving and Merciful.

There is no god but Allah alone Who has no partner; to Him belong the dominions, to Him praise is due, and He is Omnipotent, he will have a reward equivalent to that for setting free a slave from among the descendants of Ismail Alaihi salam. He will have ten good deeds recorded for him, ten evil deeds deducted from him, he will be advanced ten degrees, and will be guarded from the Devil till the evening. If he says them in the evening, he will have a similar recompense till the morning.

✦ Bismillahillazi La yadurru Maasmihi Shaiun fil-ardi wa La fis-smaaie, Wahuwas Samiul Alim.
✦ In the name of Allah, when Whose name is mentioned nothing on Earth or in Heaven can cause harm, and He is the Hearer, the Knower

✦ Aban ibn Uthman Radi Allahu Anhu narrates from uthman ibn Affan Radi Allahu Anhu (his father) that RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: If anyone says these words 3 times (in the evening) nothing shall harm him till the morning, and if anyone says this 3 times in the morning, nothing shall harm him till the evening.

✦ Aban Radi Allahu Anhu was afflicted by some paralysis and when a man who heard this hadith began to look at him, Aban Radi Allahu Anhu said to him: Why are you looking at me? I swear by Allah, I did not tell a lie about Uthman, nor did Uthman tell a lie about the RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam , but that day when I was
afflicted by paralysis, I became angry and forgot to say this dua.

It is a month in which the deeds are taken up to the Lord of the worlds, and I like that my deeds be taken up when I am fasting.

✦ Hadith 1:  Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said whoever will recite this (Aayat Al kursi) in the morning he will be protected from the devil untill the evening and whoever will recite in the evening he will be protected untill the morning.

✦ Hadith 2: Whenever you go to bed, recite "Ayat-al-Kursi"-- 'Allahu la ilaha illa huwa-l-Haiy-ul Qaiyum' till you finish the whole verse. (If you do so), Allah will appoint a guard (Angel) for you who will stay with you and no satan will come near you till morning.

*اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ*
✦ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa ant, Khalaqtani wa ana abduk, wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't,Awuzu bika min sharri ma sana't, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alay, wa Abu'u Laka bizambi fagfirli fa innahu la Yagfiru-az-zunuba illa anta.

✦ Abdullah ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu reported one day Rasoollallah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam mention prayer and he said, Whoever guards his prayers will have light and clarity and salvation on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever does not guard his prayers will not have light nor clarity nor salvation, and on the Day of Judgement he will be with Qarun and Pharaoh and Haman and Ubay ibn Khalaf.

✦ A man sneezed beside Ibn Umar Radi allahu anhu and said: Al-Hamdulillah Wa As-Salamu Ala RasoolAllah. (All praise is due to Allah, and peace upon the Messenger of Allah)'. So Ibn 'Umar said: I can also say Al-Hamdulillah Wa As-Salamu Ala RasoolAllah. but this is not what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught us. He taught us to say: Al-Hamdulillah Ala Kulli Hal (or Alhamdulillah)."

✦ Explanation : By this hadith we have come to know that anything which is not done or approved by Prophet ﷺ or his guided companion then it will be rejected even though its good practice.

✦ It was narrated that Jabir bin Abdullah Radhi allahu anhu said:In his Khutbah the Messenger of Allah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam used to praise Allah as He deserves to be praised, then he would say: 'Whomsoever Allah subhanahu guides, none can lead him astray, and whomsoever Allah subhanahu sends astray, none can guide. The truest of word is the Book of Allah and best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam . The worst of things are those that are newly invented (in religion) ; every newly-invented thing is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire.

✦ La ilaha illAllahu Rabbus-Samawati Wa Rabbul Ard
