"O God, I'm fasting, and while doing so, my breath doesn't smell very good; So, I'm embarrassed to talk to You."

God said:
"Moses, a fasting person's mouth smells better than musk to Me."

"If someone fasts on a hot day and becomes thirsty, God will send a thousand angels to touch his/her face and give him/her glad tiding until iftar, and when s/he breaks his/her fast during iftar, God will say: 'How pleasant is your smell and your soul! O angels, witness that I have indeed forgiven his/her sins.

Just like the uprising of Imam Hussain (a), the main feature of Arbaeen procession is the sincere participation of people in it. Also, during this procession, a deep understanding and familiarity will form between the participants who are from different nations, religions, and walks of life, which brings about kindness and closeness of heart between them.

This kindness, self-sacrifice, generosity, and empathy that people show toward each other during this procession, create a scene which looks as if it belongs to the era after the advent of the Savior.

Also, if we believe that the reappearance of Imam Mahdi is in line with the uprising of Imam Hussain (a), then Arbaeen procession would undoubtedly be a clear example of that.

As soon as we realize we are a "Hussein" ourselves, we cannot accept to be less than Imam Hussein (AS). Even if we go to heaven as their companion, we will not settle for anything less than the rank of Imam Hussein (AS).

We can become a real helper of Imam al-Mahdi's (AS) right now, and we can be a true anticipant of his return. So long as we are determined and active, we can their praised station.

We should not procrastinate on this path. When we introduce our blood as Hussein's blood, it means we are a "Hussein", and we must nurture and enhance this "Hussein" to join Imam Hussein (AS) in heaven.

We have a "Shimr" in ourselves as well. Therefore, what we become depends on what aspect of ourselves we nurture and enhance and emphasize on, until either Hussein, or Shimr, or Umar ibn Saad, or Yazid ibn Moawiyah, or ibn al-Ziyad is manifested in us.

Why people murdered Imam Hussain (a) although they liked him?

Many of Umar ibn Sa'ad's army members, liked Imam Hussain (AS), but that didn't stop them from fighting him.

It's because mere liking was not enough! What the Quran wants, is to love Ahl al-Bayt (Prophet Muhammad's Household).

Our religious resources advise us to go on Imam Hussain (AS) pilgrimage and to walk to his shrine so that our hearts go beyond simply liking them, to having love for them.

This love is something that makes us move and work for the infallible Imams, instead of having them as one of the many things that we like.

THE RIGHTS OF THE TEACHER

It is the right of your teacher to respect him/her, listen to him/her and attend with devotion.
You should not raise your voice towards him/her.
You should not speak whilst she/he is speaking nor speak ill of him/her.
If anyone speaks ill of him/her you should defend him/her.
You should not show any enmity or show hostility in friendship.
If this is done then Allah's angels will give witness that the knowledge learned from him/her was for Allah and not for the sake of the people.

You should respect the dignity of his audience, and to listen to him intently facing towards him, with presence of mind and purity of heart and clarity of vision, by abstaining from enjoyments and by having few desires.
And you should know that you are his messenger in whatever he teaches you to those people in ignorance who may come to you.
So, it is necessary for you to deliver his message [to impart the knowledge] to them beautifully, and not to commit a breach of trust while conveying his message, and to fulfill your duty on his behalf when you have undertaken it.
