► If your friend finds out that you are depressed, s/he may distance themselves from you.
To maintain a friendship, one must be happy and joyful, avoid depression and sadness, and refrain from talking about his problems to their friends over and over again. These actions will lead to stronger friendships.
► Tyranny and deceit can ruin friendships and relationships
The most destructive behaviours which cut the ties of friendly relations are tyranny and deceit.
Tyranny means that a person harms his friend outright and intentionally, to the extent that the friend witnesses his clear enmity, thereby leading to an end in their friendship.
A tyrannous person presents continuous harm to his friend.
Sometimes, a person may do wrong to his friend. Even if he makes a serious mistake, a true friend can forgive; because he does not view his friend as a cruel person, and knows that his friend may have made the mistake unintentionally. On the other hand, a person may mistreat his friend intentionally, even while persisting on his wrongdoings. These actions may cause for the destruction of an enduring friendship.

As mentioned earlier extravagance has spiritual, moral, internal as well as external factors.
Rivalry or keeping up with the Joneses, was introduced as a major factor for extravagance.
It was stated that rivalry has positive and negative aspects.
Positive aspect of rivalry is related to what human dignity and excellence depends on.
While in negative rivalry, people look for things which are unessential for human prosperity, character, grandeur and magnanimity, and moreover they are not in line with the purpose of human creation.

In Quran, negative rivalry is defined as self-glorification, and that's when people try to show themselves off to others by pursuing things that are not part of their character (money, fame, land, ...) as factors that would give their character more value.
Herein there are Some verses in Quran : "Do not extend your glance toward what We have provided to certain groups of them, and do not grieve for them, and lower your wing to the faithful.

🔶What to eat in Ramadan❓
👤 Dr. Kheirandish
Because of the synchrony of Ramadan with summer and the hot weather and the long time between Iftar and suhur, we should show some prudence in order to sustain our physical health during fasting days, and at the same time excrete the undesirable akhlat (liquid known as humours which consists of four kinds; Dam,Safra,Balgham, Sauda) from our body.
🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶
Therefore we are going to briefly mention some of the prudences which are told by experts in traditional medicine for these occasions, so that through respecting them, God willing, you can have an easier fasting.
❓What should we eat as Iftar meal, and what foods should we break our fast with?
⭕️The best thing for breaking your fast in this season is some luckewarm water with a date. In this meal (Iftar) we should eat soft foods which are easily digested with quick absorption, so that our body can regain it's lost energy in a short time.
some examples of this type of nourishment is listed bellow:
1⃣Bouillon without it's mixed ingredients
2⃣soft boiled egg
3⃣Barley soup
4⃣Ragout
5⃣Fig jam
6⃣Honey
7⃣Vinegar with syrup
8⃣Raspberry jam
9⃣Traditional soft barley drink (Boil a glass of pearl barley in 14 glasses of water, then filter it and drink the liquid. Those with cold temperament, should add some honey, and those with hot temperament can just drink it as is.)
🔶A couple of important points:
🔸Consuming concentrated foods as an Iftar meal will cause sudden heaviness of empty stomach and also severe stomach weakness.
🔸Since the time it takes for the energy to return to the body (when consuming heavy food) is between 8 to 12 hours, the fasting person would be in a weakened state and this will reduce the desire to have pre-fast food (Sahur) in the person, and they will feel hungry during the day.
🔸According to traditional medicine scholars, drinking ice water or any other kind of drink containing ice, also eating cold fruits such as watermelon is not recommended for Iftar meal, as it is the main reason for many digestive problems and causes gallstone, fatty liver and multiple other diseases.
🔸Also drinking cold beverages will not be helpful to quench the thirst. It is better to be a little patient and drink lukewarm boiled water, which will effectively quench the thirst.
❓What to eat between Iftar and Suhur? How to overcome our thirst?
⭕️Best foods/drinks that can be had in between Iftar and Suhur are fruits and drinks which are mentioned below:
1⃣Drinks containing broadleaf plantain, Descurainia Sophia seeds, chia, etc., (useful for both hot and cold temperamental people)
2⃣Lemonade, barberry juice, Sekanjabin, brewed honey and chicory, etc. … while are very useful for hot temperament people, those with cold temperament should use them less often.
3⃣Fruits like watermelon, melon, cantaloupe, cherry, apricot, sour cherry are recommended to be used two hours after Iftar meal.
It is also suggested to take fruit based on your temperament. For instance watermelon, sour cherry, …, are good for hot temperament people, and melon, cherry, etc., are good for cold temperament ones.
❓What to eat as Suhur to avoid hunger and thirst?
⭕️Heavy and concentrated foods (which take a long time to digest) which aren’t salty or spicy are appropriate as Sahur. It is advised to take one or two glasses of the drinks mentioned above before Suhur meal.
Haleem, lentils soup, bread with cheese and walnut, and fresh vegetables (leek, sweet basil, spearmint, etc.,), meatball, cutlet, stew, and any kind of meat curries served with rice are suggested.
🔶Points to note:
🔸Use below dressing for salad. The amount of each ingredient depends on your taste:
Olive oil + honey + pomegranate sauce + lemon juice
🔸Yoghurt will decay foods with meat ingredient and cause digestive problems for stomach (so avoid having yogurt with foods containing meat)
🔸Do not sleep one hour after Suhur in order to help the stomach complete its first digestion well.
