“Thank you; we thought that the Ummah had died, but you helped us realise that not only does the Ummah still have a pulse, but that it is brimming with life and īmān.”

In the image, Gazans perform the Friday prayer under the shade of a collapsed mosque, following an Israeli airstrike.

In his moving article about the people of Gaza, Shaykh Ali Hammuda suggests that we take a moment to reflect with gratitude on what they have done for the Muslim Ummah.

The daily prayers in Islam are an exclusive right of Allah due from His worshippers.

In this video, Shaykh Dr. Haitham al-Haddad reminds us that prayer remains an obligation, even on one's deathbed. There should never be any laxity in upholding the Divinely commanded daily prayers.

Combining prayers is an action that should never be taken lightly. Particularly during winter, the proximity of prayer times can often present a temptation to either combine or delay the Salah. This issue is significant and requires caution.

In this video, Shaykh Dr. Haitham al-Haddad addresses this topic and emphasises the importance of respecting the sanctity of the five daily prayers.

Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali reported that Abu-Bakr al-Balkhi said:
‘The month of Rajab is the month for planting, the month of Sha'ban is the month of irrigating the crops, and the month of Ramadan is the month of harvesting the crops.’
“I think the current international order is finished”

Renowned Lawyer Ustadh Fahad Ansari explains what the World Court/ICJ is, what happened this week in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel, why it is an historic occasion, and what we can do to prepare for the judgement and beyond.

Hizb ut-Tahrir’s insistence on their non-violent stance contradicts the government’s assertions, deepening the debate over the government’s counter-terrorism policies and their impact on free speech—reigniting calls echoing those of the UK’s Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, Max Hill KC, who suggested terrorism laws be scrapped.

Criticism of Zionism and Israel does not necessarily involve the intention to harm Jewish communities. Our history bears witness to this, over 148 years ago.

A COMMUNITY RESPONSE TO THE GOVERNMENT’S ATTACK ON PALESTINE AND HIZB UT-TAHRIR

In a powerful display of unity and resistance, an online event will be held to oppose the recent UK government’s announcement to proscribe Hizb ut-Tahrir as a result of the group’s advocacy for justice in Palestine.

The ban is seen as a desperate attempt to stifle discussion about the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and suppress the voices of Islam and Muslims.

An attack against one of us is an attack against all of us! Therefore, the response must be collective.

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allāh all together and do not become divided.” [Al-Qur'an, 3:103]

Muslim scholars and leaders from all walks of life will come together and stand as a shield against this latest assault on Islam and curtailing of Muslims’ rights.

Whenever one person or group is attacked unjustly or their God-given rights are violated, we put aside our differences and stand up against those violations.

Because (I): we have some principles; and (II): we’re not foolish enough to remain silent in the face of erosion of our rights until it finally ends up on our doorstep, and there’s no one left to defend us.

A Dark Day in Jenin: The Untold Story of 7 Civilian Lives Taken

In a heartbreaking incident in the occupied West Bank, a devastating Israeli terrorist attack claimed the lives of seven Palestinian civilians, including four brothers. Witnesses and evidence strongly suggest these individuals, none of whom were affiliated with armed groups, posed no threat to Israeli forces.

The victims, who had recently returned from Jordan and held Israeli work permits, were targeted near al-Shuhada village, a mere 10km from Jenin. This strike contradicts the Israel Defence Forces' (IDF) claim of targeting a "terrorist squad" and raises serious questions about the use of lethal force and the escalating tension in the region.

As the international community seeks clarity, this incident underscores the urgent need to hold Israel to account for its appalling military tactics in law enforcement operations, which appear to contravene international human rights law.
