Sounds like Digital Derry....Derry in Northern Ireland...Smart City ...our city is being fast turned into a digital prison. Trees being cut down everywhere for 5G and not a squeak from any of our political representatives, community leaders or environmentalists. Nothing. π±π±π±

Update on the fuel situation from a farmer (audio here)
π¨ It's a strong possibility that the diesel being delivered around the country at the moment is from the emergency supply which is about six to eight weeks worth.
π π The reason being, traffic has not returned to its pre-covid levels as a lot of people are still working from home, and the demand for diesel for agriculture is at its lowest point during the year.
β Hedges have already been trimmed. There's been too much rain for spreading slurry, and it's too wet for ploughing, sowing and spraying etc.
β½οΈ Yet, there's still a cap of 500 litres on any diesel delivery and they won't come and top up the tank. They just tell you they'll come by when you run out.
π ββοΈ Some small local villages have been reporting they've been out of fuel for a day or two during the week.
π One diesel suppliers who've been in the industry for fifty years and collect diesel from Dublin port once or twice a week were out of diesel last week at some point. That has never happened before as they also have storage tanks on their own premises for holidays and emergencies etc.
π± He has a feeling that in a few weeks time the country's fuel stocks could be depleted.
π«π· He talked previously about two ships sailing under Russian flags transporting fertiliser to Ireland which would be turned away. At least one of those ships ended up docking in France.
π’ A ship carrying Russian oil docked in Dublin Port last night. SIPTU called on the government to turn away the ship despite the shipment having already being paid for. Refusing it has no economic impact on Russia.

βNo limitβ to the number of Ukrainian refugees welcome in Ireland, says Taoiseach
There is no limit on the number of Ukrainian refugees who can come to Ireland, according to the Government.

The government should request the use of Ireland's 60,000 empty holiday homes to house the Ukrainian refugees according to housing policy analyst Lorcann Sirr.
And if empty homes aren't given up voluntarily, Dr Sirr said the State should acquire them on a compulsory basis.
"Building modular housing takes a lot of time. We have a huge number of empty houses in the country. The government should take the existing stock first.
"In 2020, the Government only built 4,700 new social houses. If we take in a minimum, 20,000 refugees, all that stock will be absorbed straight away.
"We also have to consider the promises made by the Government for those in need of social housing and the promises made to people in Direct Provision for housing. We're not going to build our way out of this.
"The smart thing to do is to use out existing housing stock, if that requires some kind of new legislation, well so be it."

I wonder what the St Patrick's Day Festival in London was like today...
Yeah, I figured as much.

1) These Parasites decimate this country with lockdowns.
2) They flood our communities with violent migrants reliant on welfare.
3) They nearly double our energy bills
4) Families are left to use Food Banks because they canβt afford to live.
All of this and then they have the audacity to give themselves a pay rise of Β£2,200.
When are we going to start holding these corrupt parasites to account!
