Answer :
We live in the so-called global village which means many people with different nationalities, at some point in their life, would need to learn at least one foreign language. There is disagreement among people in terms of the reasons why people try to acquire a foreign language, and some believe that language learning is only for the purpose of work or travel. yet I think these are definitely not the only motivations.
Those with career or travel in mind obviously form a large proportion of language learners. This makes sense when considering the cosmopolitan nature of our world today with multi-national corporations looking for bilingual staff on the one hand, and crowds of tourists lining up in airports and travel agencies to explore other countries on the other.
However, there is far more to foreign language acquisition than to be justified with only one or two intentions. Education and immigration are other strong motivations that require people to learn the language of the host country, and we are witnessing international students and immigrants becoming the main participants of language classes. Whatever underlying reason there might be, there are millions of people going to language institutes, taking private tutoring sessions and even self-studying because they wish to gain admission to a university abroad, or have their immigration application approved.
In addition, foreign language learning is not just a means to end for everyone. There are people who simply want to explore other cultures. Scholars who study dead languages, or the languages with very small native speaker populations, are a case in point proving that language learning can be an end in itself because these scholars seek no outcome but merely knowledge. To them, it is the sacred task of preserving a tradition and protecting the remaining fragments of a dying culture that matters.
In conclusion, languages are medium of communication and it is too narrow a perspective to assume the only purpose for people to learn another language is for the sake of career or travel even though these are among the main reasons for second language acquisition.

برابر بخشنامه جدید بانک مرکزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران آزمون های بین المللی آیلتس از سبد ارزی دولت خارج و مشمول پرداخت در بازار ثانویه ارز گردیده و همانطوری که قبلا از طریق سایت موسسه و وب سایت سازمان سنجش آموزش کشور مبنی بر علی الحساب بودن پرداخت هزینه آزمون توسط متقاضی و پرداخت مابه التفاوت در صورت اعلام قیمت جدید آزمون توسط سازمان سنجش به اطلاع می رساند برابر بخش نامه جدید سازمان سنجش آموزش کشور مورخ 28/05/97 که در وب سایت رسمی sanjesh.org نیز اطلاع رسانی گردیده هزینه آزمون آیلتس از تاریخ مذکور از مبلغ 11.800.000 ریال به 27.950.000 ریال افزایش یافته و شرکت کنندگان بایستی در روز آزمون شفاهی نسبت به پرداخت مبلغ 16.150.000 ریال مابه التفاوت افزایش نرخ آزمون اقدام نمایند.
