نمونه نامه آیلتس :
Dear Mr Fountain,
I am writing to complain about the computer that I bought from your company last week.
I am unhappy with the computer and the service that I have received. In your advertisement you stated that a choice of software is included in the price. I was hoping for
something useful, like a word processing package or something for the Internet, but you included an outdated tennis game, and a program to write up recipes. Neither piece of software is particularly useful for me.
I was also unhappy with the after-sales service that I received. Although you claim in your advertisement that you offer discounts, the computer that I bought was on sale for £150 less in my local computer shop. I was happy to pay the extra money because I am not very confident with computers and I thought your company would offer me the extra technical help that I need.
However, this was not the case. I had to take the day off work to wait for the computer to arrive, despite your claims that you would arrange a convenient time. The technician who finally came was little more than a delivery boy and he stayed for only ten minutes, just long enough to take the computer out of the box. When I had
difficulties setting up the computer on my own, I decided to phone your hotline, but was shocked to be told by your operator that the call would cost a total of £20.
I am still having difficulties getting the computer started and would like you to send one of your technicians to my house as soon as possible to fix it. I would also like a refund of the £20 phone call, which I feel I should not have to pay, and a choice of a better range of software products than the
ones you have sent me.
I hope to hear from you in the near future, and can be contacted at any time on the mobile number.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Brown

Some people think that instead of preventing climate change, we need to find a way to live with it.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
(question type: opinion. Point of argument: whether or not take measures against climate change. Response strategy: choose a side and support it.)
Climate change has been an immediate threat to all forms of life on our planet, especially after the industrial revolution with its detrimental effects on the environment. While some claim humans should merely learn how to adapt with it I strongly believe precautionary measures need to be taken.
Undoubtedly, climate change, if not prevented, will continue to have catastrophic consequences threatening our very existence and that of animals and plants. A tangible example could be meteorologists reporting alarming phenomena such as sea level rise and glacier meltdown which have led to displacement of crowds of people and habitat loss for countless animal species. There is a race against time and it is by no means in our favor, as the environmental upheavals are beyond what we can adapt to. Most paleontological studies indicate that a major climate change leading to ice ages was the reason behind the extinction of dinosaurs, mammoths and many other denizens of earth which could not adapt themselves to the drastic changes.
Furthermore, climate change is an irreversible process. Take global warming for instance, the overall temperature increase on the planet cannot possibly be undone, at least not with any means currently at our disposal. This means in near future the earth’s ecosystem will not be conducive to life, as our physiological limitations will not allow us survive in the sever heat that is awaiting us.
Finally, the closely interwoven ecology of earth means that it is impossible to anticipate the next disaster. A slight rise in the earth temperature or extinction of a species might give rise to environmental crises which we may not have taken into consideration. Therefore, we may never prevent the aftermath of a given change in the climate, and, once taken by surprise, we would be unable to respond properly.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that thorough planning and prompt preventative actions are needed with regard to the issue of climate change unless humanity is willing to face its inevitable demise.

نمونه Writing Task II از سوال نسبتاً مبهم و سخت آيلتس
The older generations tend to have very traditional ideas about how people should live, think and behave. However, some people believe that these ideas are not helpful in preparing younger generations for modern life.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?
Question type: opinion.
Point of argument: uselessness of the ideas traditional generations have about life.
Strategy: choose a side and support it. (here, the statement is agreed with.)
The ideas older generations have about how one should lead a life, think and behave are quite traditional. Some hold that these beliefs do not positively contribute to equipping younger generations for life in this modern age.
Firstly, technology has altered all aspects of human’s life especially jobs and professions. In the past, for instance, it was an admired attitude if an employee worked hard and did not complain about the most conspicuous instances of injustice and cruelty. But now, a youngster needs to be taught how to defend their rights in case they are being violated and voice their objection.
Furthermore, it was also revered as a virtue to leave bed at dawn to attend to daily tasks while it may not be the case today and many employees are not required to follow a strict nine-to-five schedule. As the need for an employee to be physically present at their workplace has been obviated thanks to the advancements in communication technology which have provided the infrastructure for working remotely enabling one to carry out their tasks from a distance anytime anywhere.
Finally, the traditional social norms no longer apply. While communities and extended families had complete authority over all aspects of an individual’s life, a modern person in our modern age is not bound by traditional social conventions which have been rendered obsolete. For example, women, devoid of the right to work or even choose their spouse, used to be advised to operate only within the confines of the household. But they are now entitled to equal rights as men.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that our lives today are by no means similar to those of the older generations, therefore, what they may believe to the be the best way of life cannot possibly suit us.
