📱 Apple senior vice president Greg Joswiak revealed on 𝕏 that the company will share Mac news next week, hinting at the imminent arrival of devices based on M4 chipsets. While Apple probably won't hold a full-blown product unveiling this October, Joswiak promises a “week” of announcements.

💰 How to get up to a million dollars from Apple

📰 Apple said it would pay between $50,000 and $1 million to hack into its Private Cloud Compute (PCC) servers, which are used to run Apple Intelligence.

Because PCC extends the industry-leading security and privacy of Apple devices into the cloud, the rewards we offer are comparable to those for iOS. We award maximum amounts for vulnerabilities that compromise user data and inference request data outside the PCC trust boundary.

👨‍💻 To allow other users to verify PCC, Apple has gone to the unusual step of opening up the source code of some of the PCC components that allow security and privacy checks.

🔧 Apple has also released a toolkit that allows you to test PCC security and simulate an attack right from your Mac for the first time. Virtual Research Environment is available on Macs with an Apple Silicon chip, 16GB of RAM and macOS Sequoia 15.1. It is already available in the latest developer beta.

🔔 New OS will be released to update today after 10 am in California

🔜 Average users can try as early as less than twelve hours:

📝 Writing tools which are available across the iPhone, including in Mail, Notes, Pages and in some third-party apps.

🩹 New clean-up tool in Photos that can remove people and things spoiling your shot, and uses multiple machine learning tools to leave the background pristine, like they were never there.

🎙 Record and transcribe audio, but remember about automatic notifications to participants. A summary is also generated after the call ends.

🗺 New design for Siri that looks somehow more central to the iPhone experience and will offer a more intuitive interaction.

☁️ Spatial photography and spatial video functionality is available in the new spatial camera mode and now available for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max as well.

🇺🇸 At first, Apple Intelligence on iPhone will only work with devices with language and Siri set to U.S. English. But Apple has already released a developer beta which will extend this to other versions of English. Anyway, now features will not work on iPhones for the Chinese region (dual SIM), nor in the EU.

💻 While new OS will be coming, new products are also anticipated this week, maybe starting from today!

🎨 The colors are truly new

With the M4 and Apple Intelligence, gorgeous new colors that stand out in any space, an improved 12-megapixel Center Stage camera, and a new nano-textured display option, it's a whole new era for the iMac,

🧐 At a glance, it's really unclear what new colors they are talking about. But if you take an iMac 🧠 and an iMac 🧠 side by side, the difference is obvious. As the joke goes now – it looks like all the ink in the printer went into the colors of the new iPhone 16.

🖥 Of the more striking differences, the 24-inch 4.5K Retina display is available for the first time with the option of “nano-textured” glass, which Apple claims “radically reduces reflections and glare while maintaining outstanding image quality. With nano-textured glass, users can place the iMac in even more places, such as a sun-drenched living room or a brightly colored storefront.”

📸 The new 12-megapixel Center Stage camera with Desk View and wide-angle lens is capable of showing the user and an overhead view of their workstation at the same time.

⌨️ Each iMac option gets a matching Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse or optional Magic Trackpad, which now connect via a USB Type-C port – previously they used the proprietary Lightning.
