📱 That's the tagline of a new promo video in the ‘Privacy on iPhone’ series, which promotes the privacy of the Safari browser.
🐦 The video shows Android devices being watched by birdie monitoring cameras, but when you launch Safari on iPhone it instantly destroys these flying cameras.
👍 It's creative and funny, and most importantly on point.

🔧 The development comes after Apple fixed a bug in iOS 17.5, which caused deleted photos to reappear.
🔍 The new feature can identify and locate previously lost or damaged photos and videos. These photos are then reflected in the new "Recovered" album, which will be present alongside the existing "Recently Deleted" album. The system will automatically scan for photos and videos that are able to be recovered, providing immediate access to any missing content.
💔 Lost or damaged photos can be the ones that are affected by database corruption issues or when a photo isn't properly saved in the Photos library.
💻 Reportedly, this new album is rumored to be available with iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia as well.
💊 Here's how to recover a lost image or video:
・Open the Photos app and tap into Albums.
・Scroll down to Utilities, and choose the Recovered album.
・Tap on a photo or video in the album, or use Select to select multiple items.
・Tap on Permanently Delete or Restore to Library.
P.S. The Recovered album will only appear on your device if it contains images that are not part of the Photos library. If you do not have any damaged or lost images, the album will not be available.

How to customize the all-new Control Center in 📱 18
🆕 iOS 18 brings a major update to Control Center that expands both capabilities and customization. The quick access controls go from a single page to multiple ones that you can smoothly slide through. Providing even more functionality, Apple is opening Control Center to third-party apps and you can invoke it from the iPhone Lock Screen as well as the Home Screen.
🤳 How to customize and use Control Center in iOS 18:
1. From the Lock or Home Screen, swipe down from the top right corner of your screen.
2. You can stop on the first Control Center screen (Favorites) or do one longer continuous swipe down to access the new Music, Home, or Connectivity Control Center screens.
3. Tap the + icon in the top left corner to add controls and customize (or long press in an empty space)
4. Drag on the bold rounded corner of a control to make it larger or smaller
5. When in edit mode, you can tap the dotted circle icon just below the Connectivity page to create a fifth or sixth Control Center page from scratch.
After you add new buttons and controls, you can try long pressing and dragging on the corner of one to expand or contract the size.
💬 You may share a screenshot the way you customized your updated Control Center in the comments.

Apple stopped producing iPods, but tinyPod has created an accessory that will surely please anyone who misses the iconic player.
The Apple Watch slips into the case, turning it into an iPod that can be controlled with a special wheel that turns the Digital Crown. The TinyPod also allows your Apple Watch to function as a small smartphone, if you have a SIM version.
The case is priced at $80, but there is also a lighter version available for $30 that doesn't include the Click Wheel.

New display
The next-generation iPad mini will reportedly have an improved display to help resolve “jelly scrolling” problems (it's when half of a device’s display refreshes noticeably slower than the other half). Despite this improvement, the iPad mini 7’s display will still be limited to 60Hz and use LCD screen technology.
By the way, Apple is currently battling a class-action lawsuit that alleges the jelly scrolling display issue makes the iPad mini 6 “unusable.”
Faster performance
The next-generation iPad mini will feature faster performance. The current iPad mini is powered by the A15 Bionic chip. First, a reliable leader on Weibo said the new model will feature an A16 Bionic.
More recently, however, code evidence has hinted at the new iPad mini being powered by the A17 chip instead, enabling even faster performance.
Other components in the iPad mini 7 will also be updated, including support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
Other changes
According to “Instant Digital” on Weibo, the new iPad mini 7 will be available in new colors. For context, the current iPad mini comes in purple, starlight, pink, and space gray.
The Weibo account also says new iPad mini 7 will feature an upgraded camera, but no specific details are available.
💬 What's your opinion of the current iPad mini and the future lineup?

📱 iPhone 17 leak reveals major changes for Apple
A reliable leaker, Ice Universe, recently shared on Weibo the details on what models will be released with the next next year’s batch of iPhones, including their screen sizes and prices.
In the last few months, rumors have been circulating about a possible iPhone 17 Slim model, which could be the most expensive iPhone yet, according to Ice Universe's recent claims. In fact, it's expected to be priced higher than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, at a staggering $1,299. Although it's more expensive than both the Pro models, its 6.65-inch screen would actually place it between the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Other details about the iPhone 17 Slim suggested by the reliable leaker include an A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, aluminum chassis and a dual rear camera system. The latter’s interesting because one would expect a top-of-the-line iPhone to offer the same triple camera arrangement that was seen in prior Pro models.
Another interesting detail revealed in the new report is that all four models will feature LTPO displays that would enable ProMotion technology to deliver a variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz. This would be a significant upgrade for the least expensive model, the iPhone 17, primarily because the lowest-priced model in the range has been limited to 60 Hz.
There is still a considerable amount of time left until the iPhone 17 range is expected to be unveiled in 2025. Considering the rumors regarding an iPhone Ultra model, the iPhone 17 Slim may very well turn out to be the case.

In addition to iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, and visionOS 2 received the update. All of them got the fourth beta versions for developers.
There small changes to a number of features throughout the operating system in this beta, but Apple is continuing to refine existing settings and design choices. So, what’s new for iOS 18 beta 4?
CarPlay Wallpapers
New Light Mode and Dark Mode wallpaper options for CarPlay, and the new wallpaper mirrors the wallpapers that have been added on the iPhone.
Settings
A new way to access iCloud settings in the Settings app. There's now an iCloud option paired with App Store, Game Center, and Wallet. iCloud settings can still be accessed by tapping on your Apple Account and choosing iCloud from that interface.
Camera Controls
There is a new "Controls Menu" option under Preserve Settings in the Camera section of the Settings app, . The Controls Menu preserves the previously used camera tool when expanding the controls menu rather than showing the full list of camera control options when using the Camera app.
Dark Mode/Light Mode Icons
The Dark Mode and Light Mode icons are now appropriately synced to the Light and Dark Mode settings on the iPhone when you use the "Automatic" setting under Customize.
Hidden Folder
Apple has changed the design of the Hidden folder in the App Library. Rather than showing an icon of an eye with a line through it, it is now blanked out app squares, which makes it stand out less.
iPhone Mirroring
This is a macOS Sequoia feature more than an iOS 18 feature, but when using iPhone Mirroring with macOS Sequoia beta 4, you can change the size of the iPhone window on your Mac's display.
Control Center
There's a new Control Center toggle for Bluetooth, but it is not yet working. Apple also added a Silent Mode/Mute toggle and an Accessibility Eye Mirroring option.
AssistiveTouch
There are new Type to Siri and Apple Watch Mirroring options available for AssistiveTouch.
Apple Intelligence
It is still continuing to prepare to implement Apple Intelligence in the beta in the not too distant future.
