👀 The new color replaces Space Gray. The difference between the space gray HomePod mini and the new midnight color is very slight, with midnight having a slightly bluer tone. To an untrained eye, though, both are ‘black’.

💼 This change means that now customers can buy the exact same shade of HomePod mini as exists for the bigger second-generation HomePod (which is offered in Midnight and White).

💵 The fabric of the outer cover is made entirely from recycled materials. Features are unchanged and the price is the same at $99.

👍 Apple TV+ yesterday landed a record 72 Emmy Award nominations across 16 broadly celebrated Apple Originals. The streaming service received its best-ever showing with sweeps across top category nominations, including:

・Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series (Lessons in Chemistry),
・Outstanding Drama Series (The Morning Show, Slow Horses),
・Outstanding Comedy Series (Palm Royale),
・Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special (STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces, Girls State)
・and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special (The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy) and more.

📱 18 may help you recover accidently deleted

🔧 The development comes after Apple fixed a bug in iOS 17.5, which caused deleted photos to reappear.

🔍 The new feature can identify and locate previously lost or damaged photos and videos. These photos are then reflected in the new "Recovered" album, which will be present alongside the existing "Recently Deleted" album. The system will automatically scan for photos and videos that are able to be recovered, providing immediate access to any missing content.

💔 Lost or damaged photos can be the ones that are affected by database corruption issues or when a photo isn't properly saved in the Photos library.

💻 Reportedly, this new album is rumored to be available with iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia as well.

💊 Here's how to recover a lost image or video:
・Open the ‌Photos‌ app and tap into Albums.
・Scroll down to Utilities, and choose the Recovered album.
・Tap on a photo or video in the album, or use Select to select multiple items.
・Tap on Permanently Delete or Restore to Library.

P.S. The Recovered album will only appear on your device if it contains images that are not part of the Photos library. If you do not have any damaged or lost images, the album will not be available.
