γ»Apple will not roll out its Apple Intelligence AI product and three other new features to the European Union when it releases them later in 2024, the company said, due to privacy concerns stemming from the Digital Markets Act.
γ»The DMA requires that services be interoperable across platforms, to promote competition and stymie the βgatekeeperβ effect that some large companies, including Apple, have.
γ»In a statement to Financial Times, Apple said that there will be a delay as it works to figure out how to make the new functionality compatible with the European Union's competition rules.
Due to the regulatory uncertainties brought about by the Digital Markets Act, we do not believe that we will be able to roll out three of these [new] features - iPhone Mirroring, SharePlay Screen Sharing enhancements, and Apple Intelligence - to our EU users this year.

The data was shared by well-known insider Majin Bu. Judging by the disassembly of the battery in the video, this is a real battery, not a dummy in a metal case.
In May it came to light that the iPhone 16 battery will have a steel body, and the thickness of the device will become significantly smaller.
The capacity of the new battery is 3,597 mAh, which is

π₯½ Now the focus of the development team on a simpler version β the prototype number "N107", which presumably will be called Apple Vision. That is, it's a junior version that the company is considering making dependent on a connection to a Mac or iPhone. This will allow Apple to save on chips (there may be only one instead of two) and on components necessary for greater autonomy of the device. The "N107" prototype has no EyeSight display and simpler internal screens. Otherwise, it will be the same device format with all the software features. So the company wants to make a device roughly priced like the iPhone Pro version.
πΆ Gurman also said that Apple is still working on an augmented reality-only version of the glasses. By design, these would be lightweight everyday glasses that users could wear like regular sunglasses or medical glasses. But for now, it's still technically feasible to realize at the level the company envisions - even more expensive than the Vision Pro.

β Apple Watch Series X will get a new form factor with a larger display
According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the tenth series of Apple Watch will be much more "new" than all the last generations introduced. The watch's form factor is expected to be updated with a larger screen due to even thinner bezels and a thinner case. The new dimensions are expected to be: 45mm instead of 41mm and 49mm instead of 45mm.
Inside the watch will have even more components made with 3D printing β Apple liked the experience with this technology in ο£Ώ Watch Ultra and they are ready to apply it to all models. BLT will be the main supplier of components made on an industrial 3D printer, this will be a very large scale endeavor for the supplier, involving entire components, not just equipment and manufacturing techniques.
The new ο£Ώ Watch Ultra 3 is likely to be technically the same as the current models in the lineup. And a new color, dark titanium, is expected again this time around.
