New CEO John Ternus is reportedly leading the company's biggest hardware overhaul yet, with plans to break into several new device categories including foldable phones, smart glasses, and home robotics.

📅 September 9 – the headline reveal is expected to be a foldable "iPhone Ultra" starting around $2,000, alongside the first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display.
📅 2027 – Apple is said to be preparing display-free smart glasses to rival Meta, AirPods with built-in cameras for AI-powered assistance, and an anniversary iPhone with curved glass.
📅 2028 – on the roadmap: a desktop home robot featuring a screen mounted on a moving robotic arm.
