The new iPhone SE 4 could prove to be a much more attractive proposition than the current generation, and it's all thanks to the price.
The expected low-cost iPhone SE new features:
Design and size
A similar look to the iPhone 14, featuring a notch with โFace IDโ biometric authentication instead of a โTouch IDโ Home button, with a 6.1'' OLED display.
Notch
A notch, which is the design that Apple has used for iPhones since the 2017 โiPhoneโ XR or a โDynamic Islandโ instead of a notch, but that is not in line with other rumors of an โiPhoneโ 14-style design.
Camera
A single-lens camera, but upgraded to a 48-megapixel camera. The current โiPhone SEโ has a 12-megapixel camera.
A-Series Chip
A17 or A18 chip. The current โiPhone SEโ is equipped with the same A15 chip that was in the iPhone 13 models.
5G
An upgraded 5G chip with support for more bands.
Battery
The โiPhone SEโ 4 will use the same 3279 mAh battery as the โiPhone 14โ.
Cost

Rumors from different reliable sources suggest that Apple is working on a MacBook that has a foldable screen. In fact, it could be Apple's first foldable device, coming even before a foldable iPhone.
The report from Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that Apple could ship more than 1 million devices with a 20-inch folding display in 2026. The MacBook is expected to receive an M5-series chip, which lines up with the expected timeline of the M4 spreading to the whole Mac lineup by the end of 2025.
As for design, when unfolded, the MacBook could be used as a monitor when paired with a keyboard and a trackpad or mouse, and when folded, it could serve as a notebook machine. Presumably this kind of design would not have a separate keyboard, instead using an on-screen keyboard with digital keys and haptic feedback for a key-like feel.
It seems like a laptop with a folding screen could be the Macโs iPhone X moment โ a product that completely resets an entire product lineup, not just for Apple, but for the entire industry.

$12M fake Apple devices fraud case in southern California ๐ฐ
A scam involving "returning" some 16,000 counterfeit iPhones and iPads to Apple stores has resulted in five arrests.
๐ฑ A criminal ring operating throughout southern California has been charged with stealing some $12.3 million worth of Apple products by "returning" real-looking counterfeits that didn't work to Apple Stores. The stores would then replace the non-functional clones with genuine iPhones and iPads, which were then shipped overseas.
๐ฎ Five Chinese nationals living in the Los Angeles area were apprehended on May 30.
A similar crime ring using the same technique in 2019 "returned" over 10,000 China-made fake iPhones, defrauding Apple of an estimated $6.1 million. The leaders were eventually sentenced to between and four and five years in prison.
It's curious, how good the counterfeit had to be that the staff didn't notice that the product was fake on reception?!

Apple has tweaked the specifications of the new iPad Air โ installed M2 chip now has 9 graphics processing units, not 10 as previously stated.
The information in the press release for the new tablets, as well as the tech support document, has not yet been corrected.

According to analyst Mark Gurman, Apple software chief Craig Federighi has tasked engineers with developing as many new AI chips for iOS 18 as possible, which will include the ability to control apps via Siri.
The new feature will work system-wide, but initially only in Apple's own apps. The company will also provide APIs to developers to implement the feature in third-party apps.
The release of the innovation should be expected no earlier than 2025. Nevertheless, the feature will probably be announced as early as 10 June during WWDC 24.
