Here's how it'll work:
๏ฃฟ Customers will be able to pay off their device early, upgrade to a newer model before the lease ends, keep the device after the payment period, or return it at the end of the lease
๏ฃฟ iPhone and Apple Watch leases will run for 24 months, while Mac and iPad plans will last 36 months
๏ฃฟ Klarna will be the financial partner behind the program, taking on the credit risk instead of Apple

๐ฐ According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to refresh its entire Mac lineup over the next two years, with around 11 new models on the way.
๐ This fall: Kicking off with a 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M6 chip, alongside a new iMac. Updated Mac mini and Mac Studio models will follow, though exact timing is still unclear.
โข 2026-2027: The most anticipated releases โ redesigned 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros featuring OLED touchscreens.
โข 2027: A refreshed MacBook Air plus a new budget option, the MacBook Neo, running on the A19 Pro chip.
โข 2028+: OLED versions of the MacBook Air and iMac aren't expected before this.
โข Also in the pipeline: macOS 27.1 is currently in testing, targeting an October release.
โข Notably, Apple has reportedly scrapped plans for the ultra-powerful M2 Extreme and M3 Extreme chips originally meant for the Mac Pro.

๐ฅ Apple becomes only the second public company ever to reach this milestone, after Nvidia first crossed $5 trillion back in October 2025.
๐ Important caveat: this was an intraday peak only. Shares closed the session at $340.08, putting market cap at roughly $4.99 trillion โ just shy of the threshold. Apple needed to close above $340.43 to officially finish the day above $5 trillion. Apple is up about 25% year-to-date, compared to Nvidia's +6% over the same period. The company also overtook Nvidia the day before to reclaim its spot as the world's most valuable public company.

US artist Heather Kline was shooting aerial photos when the wind ripped the phone from her hands over a rapeseed field. She'd just bought it days earlier โ so she immediately used Find My iPhone on her Apple Watch to grab GPS coords, then drove out with her husband to find it.
Result: zero damage, fully working, cameras intact โ and the flight plan was still on screen. The soft field landing probably saved it.
