iOS 27 supports iPhone 11 and later. A reworked CPU scheduler brings a noticeable speed boost to older devices.

MacOS 🍎 Golden Gate
Redesigned windows and icons, Liquid Glass visual style with an adjustable transparency slider — can be turned off completely.

🇺🇸 Support
Siri AI launches in English only. Available exclusively on flagship hardware: iPhone 17 Pro/Air, Mac M3+, iPad M4+.

🤪 Same glassy look, finally with real control

A new transparency slider in iOS 🍎 lets you adjust Liquid Glass anywhere from fully opaque to completely clear, instead of one forced default. Apple also added a darkened edge around glass elements and brighter highlights for more depth, and refined app icons with sharper edges and integrated Liquid Glass layers.

🤔 The feature suggests apps based on user behavior, but reports reveal that Apple collects detailed App Store interaction data to power these recommendations — including every screen tap and even typing speed. The findings come from data users can request through Apple's privacy portal.

📰 According to researchers, this data collection is enabled by default and cannot be turned off, raising concerns about transparency and user consent.

🤨 The biggest criticism? Apple has built its brand around protecting user privacy, yet users aren't explicitly asked to opt in before this level of behavioral data is collected.

💸 Tim Cook warns Apple devices could become more expensive

📰 Apple CEO Tim Cook said some Apple devices may see price increases due to a growing shortage of memory chips. Chipmakers are increasingly shifting production toward AI servers and data center infrastructure, reducing supply for consumer electronics.

🏭 Instead of building its own memory factories, Apple plans to secure long-term supply agreements with manufacturers worldwide. Some of these deals may require approval from U.S. regulators because of national security requirements.
