📰 @iPhone becomes the car key for Lexus

🪪 Apple is bringing Car Key integration to Lexus vehicles, allowing users to unlock and start their cars directly with an iPhone via the Wallet app. The first supported model is expected to be the 2026 Lexus ES, with more vehicles likely to follow.

How it works:
• digital key stored in Apple Wallet
• unlock via NFC
• express mode (no Face ID or passcode required)
• works for up to 5 hours even after iPhone battery dies

🔑 Lexus already offers its own Digital Key, but Apple Car Key is more convenient — it doesn’t rely on a constant server connection and is deeply integrated into the Apple ecosystem. The feature is already available in BMW, Hyundai, Kia, and others – now it’s Lexus’ turn.

👓 Apple might unveil its smart glasses later this year

📰 According to Mark Gurman, Apple is actively working on its first pair of smart glasses. The announcement could happen by the end of this year, with a release planned for next year.

Apple is testing several design options:
1️⃣ a classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer-style frame
2️⃣ a slimmer version (similar to what Tim Cook wears)
3️⃣ and two versions with rounded lenses
They’re also considering a vertical oval camera module, which could become a signature design element.

🤖 As for features, it sounds pretty futuristic: the glasses could take photos and videos, recognize what you’re looking at, give directions, read text, and basically act as an AI assistant.

😐 @iPhone 18 Pro may come in a dark red color

📰 Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman first mentioned this back in February. Around the same time, there were also rumors about purple and brown variants, but he suggested those could simply be different shades of the same red tone.

🚗 Now, the claim is supported by insider Digital Chat Station, who says he has seen a similar dark red finish in prototypes of upcoming Android smartphones. According to him, this increases the chances of Apple adopting the same color. There could be several reasons behind this: either brands are following the same global color trends, or Android manufacturers are picking up on Apple’s design direction – which often sets the tone for the industry.

⚫ Additionally, another insider, Instant Digital, claims that the Pro lineup might once again skip a black color option.

🤪 The years go by and Siri just keeps... getting revamped

📰 According to a new report by Bloomberg, the WWDC26 teaser video subtly reveals a major Siri redesign coming in iOS 27 with AI integration.

🔎 The interface currently being tested places Siri directly inside the Dynamic Island. When activated, the island expands and displays a “Search or ask” prompt with a glowing cursor. The edges light up with Siri’s signature animated colors – similar to the new search bar in the standalone Siri app. The same glow appears around the “26” in the teaser. These effects are designed to stand out in dark mode, which explains the black background in the video.
