2020. I was completely burnt out — four years of daily work on Expert Advisors without a break. Lockdown, me lying at home with a laptop — and the idea for Stock Trader Pro arrives.
For me it was a different league. Back then the Market was all hype around EURUSD and forex grids, and I already understood: forex is essentially a currency exchange counter, a market close to random, with no real laws or durable patterns. (In Bernanke's era it was different, especially for momentum systems — but those days are gone.) The stock market works on a fundamentally different basis: companies have fundamentals, growth has a reason behind it.
I thought Stock Trader Pro would be the crowning work of my career. Then came the award from MQL5, and at the end of 2021 I decided to change direction entirely.
But fate had other plans.
In 2022 the war in Ukraine began. In April 2023 my father died. That broke me — for six months I couldn't really function.

What I didn't know then was that a bullish impulse would start right after — and another strong growth wave for the system. Look at the figures from that period: +89.89% over three and a half years, with a 9.13% drawdown. Not 100% a month. Just work, year after year.
