Most of you use EvoNightEA for trading, but after a summer drawdown a lot of users turned off the system and stopped trading with it, despite stable results over the past months. EvoNightEA have covered drawdown and gotten new hights (expect IC Markets).

Each system, and EvoNightEA is not an exception, has not only profitable periods, but also periods of stagnation and drawdown.
The new version of EvoNightEA v.4.0 is coming to release soon. This update is an absolutely new system and conception. EvoNightEA v.4.0 took the best from other midnight scalpers (Ethereum and PeregrimEA). Unlike previous versions, the system is optimized for each currency pair separately – it’s isn’t have a static settings for all pairs as before!

During the work under creating EvoNightEA v.4.0, system have fully ported to MetaTrader5 and all optimizations and tests have been maken with the MetaTrader5 (don't worry, MetaTrader5 version first of all for testing and optimization - all settings will be exported to MetaTrader4), because the platform allows testing and optimizing EA directly on tick quotes of our brokers – IC Markets, Alpari, Admiral Markets and another. The quality of these quotes is significantly higher than any available for MT4 (including Dukascope copies for TDS2), which will be a comparative blog article. That is why the majority of scalpers during the testing in MT4 with TDS2 on Dukascopy and another tick quotes showed completely different results compared to real trading.

Dear friends, do you remember MacmyEA? For now a new version is a ready and will be available at MQL5.Market very soon! What’s new? MacmyEA became an “overclocking” system. What is it? System will be have a big number of trades and it will be able to make over 50% per month, but with the high risks. The system will have a high percentage of profitable transactions - about 97-98%, but at the same time the Stop Loss level can reach more than 100 pips.

The new version of the MacmyEA is recommended to use on a separate account, since at any time a loss of more than 50% is possible! However, at a similar level of profitability, this risk of loss is leveled. We will be able to earn 50-100% per month for several months. In this case, it is recommended that, when the profit mark reaches 50%, withdraw funds to the main account.

Example: If your primary account is $ 1000, it is recommended to open a separate account $ 100- $ 200. New versions of midnight scalpers (EvoNightEA, MacmyEA and PeregrimEA) will be published in 2 versions: Metatrader4 and Metatrader5. I recommend using Metatrader5 for scalpers, as the system is faster, which affects better trading results, and the test results are higher than in MT4 (including TDS2 tests with variable spread and ANY tick quotes).

I will ask the administration of MQL5 to add the possibility of related products so that all holders of MT4 licenses will get access to MT5 version. If this functionality is not added, all owners of MT4 licenses will receive an 80% discount on the purchase version for MT5.

Dear friends, I am comparing orders execution for EvoNightEA at MT4 and MT5 . MT5 much more fastest. Some orders open faster for 400ms and close faster nearly 400ms, some orders have been opened faster over few seconds. As a results - much more better results wit the MT5. Speed of exeqution is a very important for scalping systems!

Dear friends, yesterday was an another one terrible day for most midnight systems exclude EvoNightEA. All systems had a perfect results for a long term period, but 2 bad days have been destroyed all the results and efforts: SFE Night Scalper, NightWalker, Generic A-TLP and a lot of another systems have lossed to much. Ethereum and PeregrimEA have gotten losses today too.

The similar situation you could saw last summer too, when all long term results of EvoNightEA have been destroyed during the few days: just a few big Stop Loss enough… And such a fate awaits all the scalping system.

We cannot avoid losses, but we can limit them to make a systems more stable in long term to avoid terrible drawdown. Therefore, first of all, EvoNightEA, Ethereum and PeregimEA always use short Stop Loss - not 100-200 pips, like other systems. Long Stop Loss indicate low signal quality. But it isn’t enough. I decided to implement a new protection mechanism to use systems for long term in conservative mode:

A new protection mechanism will be limit number of trades by same basic pair (for example, for GBPAPD, GBPCAD, GBPCHF, GBPUSD will be opened only a 1 one position, which contain GBP index at the same time). So we will be protected from a power move, when could be opened trades for all GBP symbols.

It’s a very difficult to code this mechanism, so it need some time. But I hope it will make systems much more stable and safety for a long term use!
