iOS 12.3 vs. 12.4 Beta 1
iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
πŸ—£Performance of iOS 12.4 Beta 1 is actually pretty good. It also seems pretty solid and bug free. But as this is a Beta it is not recommended for daily use. However benchmarks are very close if not equal to that of iOS 1.2.3, so in terms of performance there is nothing to worry about, but wait for the final or a later beta if you plan on using it on your
daily phone.

πŸ—£ Performance of iOS 12.4 Beta 3 still very good. Benchmarks are now almost all in favour of iOS 12.4 Beta 2, however HTML 5 tests on iPhone 6 and 8 does fall a bit behind, so will be keeping an eye on that going forward. Also the 5S seems to boot slower, so will be keeping an eye on that for Beta 4.

iSpeed TestπŸ“±
iOS 12.3.1 vs. 13 Beta 1
iPhone 6s, iPhone 7,iPhone 8
πŸ—£ So this is Beta 1, and you should not put that much into a speed test at this early point. But you can get a good indication how much work is ahead for Apple to bring a beta up to par with a release version. However Apple is off to a VERY good start with Beta 1. Not much sign of that 2 x app launching speed, but it is on par or very close to that of iOS 12.3.1. Geekbench are slower on the 6s and 7, but not by much, however faster on the iPhone 8/X. All other benchmark tests score better when running on iOS 13. So it really does look like a fantastic beta 1. Looking forward to testing the next 10-11 versions before its fall release.
