The Embassy of Spain in Jakarta, in collaboration with the Patronato de la Alhambra, is hosting the seminar "The Alhambra: History and Legacy."

Learn about the origins of the Nasrid Dynasty, symbolism, decorative arts, and global influence of one of Spain's most iconic and admired monuments with Fernando Martínez Ávila, Head of the Department of Archaeology of the Alhambra and Generalife, who will also present the latest archaeological discoveries revealing the daily life and transformation of this monumental complex.

This activity is a parallel event to the exhibition "The Red Shades of the Alhambra," currently on view at the Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics and open until January 2026.
