INTERSTEM
We would like to introduce Interstem, student-run science club, created for students who enjoy science, innovation, and solving real-world problems.
Many students have interesting ideas but don't always have a place to develop or share them. Our club gives everyone the opportunity to turn those ideas into real projects.
Every 3 weeks, we will host events where participants will work individually or in teams to create an original project related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or innovation. Whether it's a medical invention, a clean energy concept, a space-related idea, or an environmental solution, every project is welcome.
We will have 2 events in a month, on the first one participants gather in teams, form study groups, start working on their idea. After the first event, participants should finish it at home with their original group. On the second event, students present their work. When all of the presentations are presented and judged and the students receive their certificates and prizes, all of the participants must write a 200-300 word reflection on the presentation they have found the most interesting and why.
At the end of each event, participants present their work to the audience and a panel of judges. Projects are evaluated based on creativity, scientific thinking, practicality, and presentation skills.
The top three projects of the week are recognized and awarded for their outstanding work.
However, Interstem is about much more than competition.
Our goal is simple:
To build a community where students are encouraged to think critically, work together, explore new ideas, and turn their curiosity into innovation.
Everything is free!
