Working together with FRESH’s scientific leads and the Deputy Director of FRESH, the incumbent will put in place processes to project manage external engagements and ensure key operational functions are appropriately managed across FRESH projects. This includes contracting, IP management, budget planning, cashflow management invoicing, and payment.
In addition, this post will support the Deputy Director of FRESH in the development of our business development strategy, including the development and execution of FRESH’s long-term sustainability plan.
This is a key role that has both external and internal facing responsibilities and is essential to ensure FRESH operates as a valued service provider to Singapore’s rapidly expanding future food ecosystem.

FRESH partnership management, act as secretariat for the FRESH Executive Committee

Requirements:

Bachelors and/or Masters degree in scientific management preferred or science degree with a minor in business related studies
Direct experience and aptitude for finance and operations management, project management training a plus.
Strong commercial and business acumen, knowledge of the food industry a plus
Motivated individual who is able to work both independently and in a team setting
Agile and analytical mind with good writing, organizational and communications skills (including negotiation skills), with ability to analyse and summarize complex subjects in simple terms
