Our Student Union has created a sticker pack and a card that you can sign and send to your favourite professor (anonimously, if you want to). There are two spots where you can do it till November 15:

2️⃣next to the canteen on the 2nd floor

⚛️MEPhI Opens Remote Participation Centre
Today, MEPhI will host the opening of the Remote Participation Centre of the Information and Communication Space Hardware Infrastructure Platform (ICP HIP) for fusion research.
ICP HIP is an information network dedicated to research in thermonuclear fusion, bringing together national and international scientific centres.
ICP participants have access to scientific experiments and can participate in each other's remote scientific experiments. Future experiments are planned at the ITER International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor in France.
All of the above will allow the Rosatom State Corporation's core university, MEPhI, to involve students and university staff in thermonuclear research and give them the opportunity to conduct experiments both in Russia and abroad.

Yesterday, MEPhI celebrated the Higher School Teachers' Day. Our students could sign personalized cards for their favourite lectureres and send them anonimously. Some of the teachers boasted that they've received a dozen of cards!
Earlier, our colleagues asked professors from different departments what MEPhI means to them. The answers you can see on the card. It's so touching that our university associates with home, family and a place where you are valued ❤️

MEPhI signed an agreement with Rostec State Corporation
The agreement is aimed at developing scientific and technological cooperation and training new generation engineers. The document was signed yesterday as part of a meeting dedicated to the tasks of achieving technological leadership.
The cooperation will cover research and development in such areas as micro- and nanoelectronics, new materials, medicine, robotics and artificial intelligence. It is also planned to improve educational programs and strengthen career guidance.
Special attention will be paid to the launch of industrial postgraduate studies (PhD) from 2025, where PhD students will be able to develop ready-made engineering solutions in cooperation with universities and enterprises.
The agreement confirms the importance of integration of science and industry for the realization of national goals and accelerating the introduction of innovations into the economy.
