Researchers from Schmidt Ocean managed to capture a rare Glass octopus or Vitreledonella richardi. It was discovered at a depth of 651 meters in the archipelago of the Phoenix Islands.
It is considered one of the least studied cephalopods. The octopus is almost completely transparent, but you can see its eyes, digestive tract and chromatophores (the cells that produce color for camouflage are shown with yellow dots at the end of the video).
Almost nothing is known about the total number of these octopuses in nature
