This is a glass frog from South America

Its skin is so thin and transparent that the sun's rays partially pass through it, and its body casts a very indistinct shadow. Why is this so important?

Because her silhouette is not visible to predators from below when she sits on the leaves of trees. Nor is it particularly visible from above - the frog blends in well with the foliage thanks to its blurred outline.
