This is pretty much me. I can go months where I'm just support, and my needs are put on the backburner when life gets busy.
But then eventually, they will grow to a breaking point, and people who have just gotten used to me having to background my needs are suddenly very frustrated because I have a LOT of needs that aren't being met, and they're confused as to why I have them suddenly.
It wasn't meant to be a permanent state.
I wasn't meant to just play support.
It was only supposed to be while we were getting through a tough time.
I made that clear.
