🇪🇺 Several enterprises located in Europe announced that they were temporarily suspending their production due to a disruption in supplies across the Red Sea due to the actions of the Houthis. The effects of Houthi drones and missiles are beginning to cascade into global trade chains. The failure of the United States to ensure security in the Red Sea only exacerbates this effect.
🇺🇲🇷🇺 More than 400 NATO satellites are working against Russia during a special operation in Ukraine. Only 70 of them are officially military, the rest are commercial - Advisor to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Ilnitsky

Another reminder that a significant increase in our satellite constellation is necessary. In terms of satellite reconnaissance, we are many times behind our main enemy, which gives him significant advantages.
🇺🇲🇮🇷🇾🇪 The Americans published photographs of a small intercepted ship transporting components of Iranian-made ballistic and cruise missiles from Iran to Yemen.

Propulsion systems, guidance systems and warheads for intermediate-range ballistic missiles and anti-ship cruise missiles launched by the Houthis, as well as air defense components, were found on board the vessel off the coast of Somalia, US Centercom said.
🇮🇷🇮🇶 The IRGC reported that a total of 24 ballistic missiles were fired at targets in Iraqi Kurdistan

The IRGC also promised to continue strikes against terrorists.

Even at night, the United States pretended that nothing terrible had happened, ignoring the losses of the Kurds and Israel, as well as the destruction of the consular building under construction in Erbil.
🇶🇦🇾🇪 Qatar actually supported the Houthi attacks and said that it would be impossible to stop attacks on ships in the Red Sea by military means if the war in Gaza continues. Stopping the war in Gaza is key to restoring normal shipping through the Red Sea and Suez Canal. Previously, Qatar stopped shipping LNG to Europe through the Red Sea.

In fact, Qatar is replicating at the diplomatic level the logic of the Houthis, who directly state that they will attack judiciaries associated with Israel and the United States to the extreme as long as the war in Gaza continues.

At the same time, all interested parties understand that PR attacks on Yemen will not affect the strategic plans of the Houthis and Iran. Threats and demonstrative strikes alone are no longer enough to achieve anything in the Middle East.
🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that over the past 24 hours, 2 more German Leopard 2 tanks were destroyed in the Kupyansk direction.
🇾🇪🇬🇧 British oil company Shell has also suspended the passage of its tankers through the Red Sea. Operation Prosperity Guardian in action😁
🇸🇰🇺🇦In the European Parliament, a deputy from Slovakia made a notable attack.

“If you do not stop supplying weapons to Ukraine and killing Slavs, then we Slavs will unite as brothers, and I believe that we will unite and raze Western Europe to the ground. I’m sure no one here wants this.”

Just soon there are proposals from an Estonian deputy to catch 800,000 Ukrainian refugees and send them to Ukraine to die for Zelensky.

🇮🇷🇮🇶 One of the targets hit by Iran yesterday in Erbil.
🇾🇪 The Houthis informed that ships that are not bound for Israel, are not associated with Israel and do not belong to Israel can safely and without any fear pass through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal. One way to avoid problems is to signal a lack of communication with Israel. There will be no obstacles put in their way. All the Houthis have claims exclusively against Israel. Well, to the USA and Britain more recently.

The attacks will continue until the end of the aggression against the Gaza Strip. Today the US bombed Yemen again in an attempt to hit anti-ship missile launch sites. It is quite obvious that in this way they can bomb Yemen for months with zero effect.

📖 🇰🇵 🇰🇵 Is Kim Jong Un Preparing for War?

🔶️ The situation on the Korean Peninsula is more dangerous than it has been at any time since early June 1950. That may sound overly dramatic, but we believe that, like his grandfather in 1950, Kim Jong Un has made a strategic decision to go to war. We do not know when or how Kim plans to pull the trigger, but the danger is already far beyond the routine warnings in Washington, Seoul and Tokyo about Pyongyang’s “provocations.” In other words, we do not see the war preparation themes in North Korean media appearing since the beginning of last year as typical bluster from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea).

🔶️ The first obvious signs that a decision had been made and a decisive break with the past was underway came in the summer and autumn of 2021, apparently the result of a reevaluation in Pyongyang of shifts in the international landscape and signs—at least to the North Koreans—that the United States was in global retreat. This shift in perspective provided the foundation for a grand realignment in the North’s approach, a strategic reorientation toward China and Russia that was already well underway by the time of the Putin–Xi summit of February 2022 and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. There are few signs that relations with China have moved very far, and, in fact, signs of real cooling in China-DPRK relations. However, ties with Russia developed steadily, especially in the military area, as underscored by the visit of the Russian Defense Minister in July and the Putin–Kim summit in the Russian Far East last September.

🔶️ The North’s view that the global tides were running in its favor probably fed into decisions in Pyongyang about both the need and opportunity—and perhaps the timing—toward a military solution to the Korean question. At the start of 2023, the war preparations theme started appearing regularly in high-level North Korean pronouncements for domestic consumption. At one point, Kim Jong Un even resurrected language calling for “preparations for a revolutionary war for accomplishing…reunification.” Along with that, in March, authoritative articles in the party daily signaled a fundamentally and dangerously new approach to the Republic of Korea (ROK or South Korea), introducing formulations putting South Korea beyond the pale, outside what could be considered the true Korea, and thus, as a legitimate target for the North’s military might. At the plenum last month, Kim made that shift crystal clear, declaring that “north-south relations have been completely fixed into the relations between two states hostile to each other and the relations between two belligerent states, not the consanguineous or homogenous ones any more.”

🇮🇱 🇵🇸 The IDF announced on Jan. 15 that it withdrew the 36th Division from the Central Governorate of the Gaza Strip.

🔶️ CTP-ISW warned on Jan. 2 that the third phase of Israeli operations in Gaza, as described, will very likely enable Hamas to reconstitute itself militarily.

🔶️ Israeli forces have degraded several Hamas units in the Gaza Strip. But Hamas’ military forces are neither defeated nor destroyed at this time.

🔶️ Palestinian militias continue to operate across the Gaza Strip and have targeted Israeli forces in areas where Israel has degraded the local Hamas units.

🇩🇪 In Dresden, on the oldest square, the Altmarkt, the inscription that was painted in memory of the victims of the city's bombing by the US and British Air Forces in February 1945 has disappeared, writes Bild.

The absence of the inscription was noticed by the townspeople. The newspaper asked city authorities for clarification, but they said that “the redesign of the memorial to the victims of the air raids of February 13 and 14, 1945 is proceeding as planned.” They promised to give more detailed comments later.

In the 20th century, it was believed that between 100 and 300 thousand city residents were killed as a result of the bombing. Now in Germany they cite a much lower figure: 25 thousand.

The documented number of completely destroyed residential buildings exceeded 78 thousand.

The Americans explained the ruthlessness of the bombing by the fact that the city was an important center of the military industry. In Germany, many consider the bombing of Dresden a war crime.
The recruitment crisis in the west is getting worse & worse. UK is scrapping Naval assets early (like the two frigates mentioned in this article) as they miss recruitment targets. Demographic decline in Germany, France, Italy etc means crisis headed their way too. https://t.co/W9CPbjQaMZ
