Serbian president Vucic's plane makes emergency landing in Baku en route to Moscow
The plane carrying the president, who was heading to Moscow to take part in the Victory Parade, made an emergency landing at Baku airport. The reason was the refusal to allow the flight to continue due to "security threats, including the impact of air defense systems."
Earlier, Latvia and Lithuania banned the Serbian plane from flying through their airspace, and the EU warned that Vucic's participation in the parade could complicate negotiations on the country's accession to the union.
❗️ The authorities of Poland and Lithuania also did not allow Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico to fly, and Estonia completely banned the use of its airspace for flights to Moscow on May 9.

This concept had several goals:
— To emphasize the war of the entire Soviet people against the German-Hitler troops.
— To obscure the facts of the USSR’s cooperation with Hitler’s Germany.
— To “privatize” the victory in World War II.
Myth 2. The USSR liberated the countries of Europe. This was invented to justify the post-war Soviet presence in many European countries, and in return, the “liberators” themselves became occupiers.
Myth 3. It is Russia, as the legal successor of the USSR, that has the monopoly right to the “Great Victory” over Nazism. Over seven million Ukrainians won victory as part of the Red Army, and tens of thousands more as part of other allied forces (photo above).
Myth 4. Stalin and Hitler were not allies, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was a “forced diplomatic step for the USSR” and gave time to “prepare for war.” In fact, between the signing of the “non-aggression” pact in August 1939 and Germany’s attack on the USSR in June 1941, these two countries actually acted as close allies.
Myth 5. Georgy Zhukov is the “Marshal of Victory.” During the Berlin offensive, Zhukov ignored avoidable casualties. He lost over 15,000 soldiers, almost 90 tanks, and 40 aircraft every day — all in order to enter Berlin before the Allies. Thus, in the Berlin operation, the Red Army lost at least 352,000 people killed and wounded.
