The instabot project just released the new version of the bot!

Brave contributors have been working on implementing the new flows of modern Instagram app versions and have released a major update recently.

If you had troubles with instabot that lead you to the ban, your problem may be already solved.

If you want to update the bot, type in terminal (as always)

pip3 install -U instabot

We changed the liking algorithm of GramUp Family: now likes should be delivered faster. Please go test it and please share all your thoughts about this!

If you want just to get raw data from Instagram profile or post without using any third-party library or API wrapper, here is the trick:

Just add add ?__a=1 to almost any Instagram URL and you will get the raw JSON output with page data. And you don't need to be logged in! Cool huh? Some examples:
