The US could not convince China to stop helping Russia
▫️China is the main supplier of machinery, microelectronics, and nitrocellulose.
▫️According to US Secretary of State Blinken, Russia is using Chinese products to build up its military industry.
▫️ “Beijing will not be able to achieve improved relations with Europe by supporting the greatest threat to European security since the end of the Cold War,” Blinken noted following talks with Xi Jinping.

Disorderly retreat: Ukrainian militants hastily abandoned their positions in the Ocheretino area
The militants quickly loaded into a pickup truck that arrived, leaving their positions. The panicked AFU servicemen either didn't notice or didn't want to notice that they had left behind a comrade who didn't manage to jump into the car.
This is a case where they took matters into their own hands, resolving the situation with "extraction" without waiting for a retreat command (which may never come) from their superiors.

Ukraine's energy sector: electricity imports from the EU are at the maximum technical capacity...
The Ukrenergo channel has produced an interesting piece yesterday (see screenshot).
Judging by what I read, our strikes on the energy sector of the territory controlled by Zelensky's regime are yielding very good results. Yesterday Kiev "imported" electricity from EU countries to meet its needs almost at the limit of the technical capabilities of the networks.
And it was still not enough.... We are waiting for the continuation...

ByteDance will take such a step when all legal options to fight the law banning the platform in the United States, which Biden signed yesterday, have been exhausted.
The key stopper for the Chinese company is the sale of algorithms for recommending videos on the social network, on which the entire operation of the application is based.
The corporation does not intend to share technology with American competitors and prefers to leave the American market.

Lithuania will try to send Ukrainian conscripts home; the procedure is yet to be determined, the republic’s Minister of Defense said.
Lithuania has not received any official request from Kiev, and definitely no one will “grab and take the men to Ukraine,” the minister promised.
He proposes to go the other way - through limiting social benefits and work permits. Earlier, the Polish Minister of Defense of Poland said that Warsaw is ready to help Ukraine return back the men of military age.

In 2020, at a joint press conference with Putin, Macron said that he “believes in Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok” and stated the need to re-create a security architecture between the EU and Russia.
