WIUT student Azamat Khamidov wins Venture Crawl International Pitch Competition 2024
🏆🥇 Azamat Khamidov, level 5 student at WIUT, co-founder of PointAI startup, an e-commerce platform that leverages intelligent systems to analyze complex queries, offering explanations, and engages in natural conversations with customers won Venture Crawl International Competition 2024 organized by King's College (UK). Azamat Khamidov and his startup PointAI collected maximum number of points and gained champion's title.
🌍 The international competition was among Westminster International University in Tashkent, The University of Warwick, The University of Dublin & University of South Africa, 4 countries were competing: United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Ireland and South Africa. Previous winner of Venture Crawl International Competition 2023 was also WIUT student Shukrullo Abdurakhmonov with GBoost project.

🚀 The Fintech Association of Uzbekistan announced the launch of the WeRise Accelerator together with The Stirling Foundation (USA). The project is looking for startups in the following areas:
🔸 FinTech;
🔸 EdTech;
🔸 Cleantech;
🔸 Climate Tech.
📣 A three-day BootCamp will be held from April 17 to 19, 2024, and a meeting with international investors will take place on April 25, 2024.
🏆10 winners will receive financial support in the amount of $1,500 USD to $15,000 USD.

The #USG2024 is an open innovation challenge aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial skills among university students from CAREC member countries. It aims to empower the youth to be aware of local development challenges and to equip them with skills to tackle these challenges through innovative solutions.
A two-month curriculum will support participants to develop their solutions. Winners will have the opportunity to participate in an international study tour in person!
