🌟How to identify a GREAT crypto startup ⁉️

We always show our audience and investors great startups and for that we are appreciated.

How do we define who is great? 🔍 Here are a few key factors that help you understand InnMind's expertise:

✅ Startups that have good knowledge about competitors in their niche. It also helps startups identify areas that should be developed to make a startup the leader of the niche.
✅ A crypto startup must have team members well versed in distributed ledgers systems: how they work, how they can be further optimized, and how they can be designed to fit specific market needs.
✅ Cryptocurrencies deal with financial value at a fundamental level. It is therefore critical that a crypto startup must incorporate personnel intimately familiar with financial systems and can analyze financial markets technically and fundamentally and translate their analysis into programmable goals within the startup.
✅ And again about the team. Each way of raising funds (VCs or ICOs) requires people skills. A good crypto startup needs a human relations department or internal skillset to manage such negotiations and legal expertise to craft protocols for conflict resolution, and eliminate any ambiguities in the startup’s communications.
✅ A good crypto startup should keep at the frontier of innovations. The crypto field is highly competitive, so those startups will survive that can quickly revise its work structure to fit in with new ideas or demands by the market, quickly crafting products and having them in the market as soon as the demand is recognized.
✅ Data from major crypto outfits such as KuCoin show that up to 80% of their revenues come through their presence on mobile apps. It is hence essential to have a presence in that mobile ecosystem. The mobile apps need to be user-friendly: intuitive, easy to use, and highly interactive.
✅ As a nascent market, the crypto field still has a lot of unknowns. These unknowns manifest in the market in the form of wild fluctuations in market prices. Market crashes of over 50% of the price are common, and they can sometimes happen seemingly overnight. A good startup hence should craft its business structure around a high-risk, high-reward notion.
✅ Finally, a good startup should have a very good customer support. In a field where there are probably lots of competitors offering the same product or service, better customer service might be the one edge that puts a small startup ahead of its bigger, more bureaucratic competitors.

​​The money invested by venture capitalists continues to grow to new highs 🤩

Highlights from the recent Galaxy Digital Research report (Crypto & Blockchain Venture Capital – Q1 2022):

▶️ VCs invested more than $10bn in crypto startups. The number of investments is the biggest quarterly sum ever;

▶️ In Q1 2022, there were more investments in Series B+ companies than in previous quarters which means the industry becomes mature;

▶️ At the same time, the number of deals with early-stage startups is the lowest since Q3 2020;

▶️ For the first time ever more money was invested in Web3/NFT/DAO/Metaverse companies instead of trading/exchange/lending companies;

▶️ Despite to public equity markets, particularly tech, are down on the year, in Q1 2022 there are the biggest average valuations of crypto companies. Alex Thorn, Head of Firmwide Research explained raising of startup valuations in this way:

“Competition for access to deals increase, with founders raising more on a median basis while selling less equity, leading to higher valuations.”
