🚨BREAKING: Pro-Palestine activist and aid worker Majid Freeman has been sentenced to 22 weeks in prison after a politically charged trial linked to the Hindutva riots in Leicester.

Majid now joins a growing list of high-profile pro-Palestine arrests, including Palestine Action’s Richard Barnard and independent journalists Richard Medhurst and Sarah Wilkinson.

In 2022, Hindutva inspired mobs led paramilitary-style marches through Muslim neighbourhoods in Leicester. Majid and others mobilised to protect their community as police failed to maintain peace.

Now, the same police force is punishing the man who called them out.

This case isn’t just about Majid, it’s about silencing his activism, whether it’s exposing police incompetence, challenging UK politicians, or speaking out against the genocide in Gaza.

We believe this trial will only strengthen his resolve to stand for justice.

Excuse him and pardon him

‎وَأَكْـرِمْ نُزُلَـهُ
& make honourable his reception

‎وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ
Expand his grave

‎وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ
And cleanse him with water, snow and hail [water]
