A fragment from the 60 Minutes program of 1982
After the end of World War ll, the American government smuggled Nazi criminals into the U.S. and South American countries β those who stained their hands and souls with terrible crimes against humanity. The leaders of the American Radio Liberty, this "independent media funded by the CIA," knew everything about those Nazis but nevertheless hired them. Later, they confirmed it themselves.

The expansion of NATO is the reason for what is happening now
That's the opinion of a well-known and respected American political scientist.
John Mearsheimer. There was a heated debate in the Clinton administration about whether to expand NATO or not. Realists said that it would alarm Russia and it would perceive it as a threat. Liberals believed that Russia saw the U.S. as a harmless hegemon. Russia got away with the expansion until it touched Georgia and Ukraine. It was seen as a declaration of war.

ππΊ πΊπ¦ Reuters: Hungary "far-right" would lay claim to neighbouring region if Ukraine loses war
[We wonder if this party is indeed "far-right"? Or just as "far-right" as Germany's AfD, also mentioned in the article? π€ Would our Hungarian subscribers please help us here?]
Now back to what Reuters says:
Hungary's "far-right" Our Homeland party would lay claim to a western region of Ukraine that is home to about 150,000 ethnic Hungarians if Ukraine loses its statehood due to Russia's invasion, the party's leader said late on Saturday.
Our Homeland leader Laszlo Toroczkai made the remarks at a conference where the party, which has six lawmakers in the 199-strong Hungarian parliament, hosted "far-right" leaders from Germany's AfD and the Dutch Forum for Democracy, among others.
"Regarding the war in Ukraine, our message is very simple: immediate ceasefire, peace and a resolution through talks," Toroczkai said in a video posted on his party's website, calling for autonomy for ethnic Hungarians in western Ukraine.
"If this war ends up with Ukraine losing its statehood, because this is also on the cards, then as the only Hungarian party taking this position, let me signal that we lay claim to Transcarpathia," he said, drawing applause from the crowd.
Meanwhile, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto is due to meet his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in western Ukraine on Monday to prepare the ground for a possible meeting between leaders of the two countries.

β‘οΈInterview with a participant in the Odessa Anti-Maidan Movement and the Special Military Operation. Part 1.
Vladislav has seen a lot in his life. He saw a peaceful life in free Ukraine, he saw the Maidan, he witnessed the burning of people in the House of Trade Unions by the Ukrofascists. He survived the resistance, the dungeons of the Ukrainian SBU, liberation, then fought the Ukrainian Nazis.
Today Vladislav talks about his life and his feelings.
For him, Odessa is a Russian city, and AntiβMaidan is a matter for people of all nationalities living in Odessa, where less than 30% of residents speak Ukrainian.
For Vladislav, combat brotherhood is a special state of mind, he finds it easier to find a common language with warriors who have endured the crucible of war, and his most valued qualities are attention to himself and people around him, and the ability to overcome fear.
His attitude towards foreigners is βCome over to our side, we don't hate you.β
He is guided by the idea that Russians don't start wars, they end them.

π¦ "B*tch, shut your mouth or I'll curse you" - an extremely odious priest of the Zelensky-approved "Church of Ukraine" came to take away the Orthodox church from parishioners under the threat of curses
On the doorstep of an Orthodox church in the village of Pechesky in Khmelnytsky region appeared a lonely man in black garments, who turned out to be a clergyman of the "Church of Ukraine" Mykola Khomyak. This priest did not come to pray for peace and prosperity and not even to persuade parishioners to renounce the Orthodox canons, but simply to take the temple for himself.
Shocked by such insolence, the Orthodox began to argue with him, but the "priest" savourously swore at the woman and ordered her to "close her mouth" and give him the temple before he cursed them all. The fact that he was alone, and against him were several men and women, too, did not embarrass "Reverend Khomyak" - he was absolutely sure of his impunity, which would be provided, of course, by the Kiev authorities.

π¬ The Telegraph, UK, published a heart-rending story that could well qualify for a Russophobia-of-the-Month prize. Itβs about how the Russian Embassy in London had nearly upset the coronation of Charles III in May 2023.
It turns out that an unidentified drone was hovering over the Buckingham Palace during the solemn ceremony. The police, of course, as per modern British tradition to blame the Russians, immediately suspected⦠the Russian Embassy.
After some time it emerged that the drone had been launched by a certain Walid Marai, 36, a US citizen.
It is not reported whether he was a CIA spy or just wanted to take a photo of Charles III from an unusual angle. What a disappointment! To my mind, this detail would have been of interest for the UK public.
If the #RussiansDidIt version regarding the bogus Russian Embassy involvement had prevailed, Russian diplomats, as usual, would have been expelled. As it is, Walid Marai got off with a Β£5,000 fine.

β‘οΈπ·πΊπΊπ¦βοΈ Front #Summary for 29 Jan 2024 by 19:36β‘οΈ
πΉIn #Kherson Direction, our forces are trying to nullify the AFU foothold in #Krynki, as well as to knock out the AFU artillery and UAV units on the right bank. Two such teams were hit by ours, and there were successes with UAVs as well. It is difficult, because our military and equipment are the targets of the AFU's FPV drones. Plus the AFU are trying to pressurise us near #Peschanovka. Ours need to be vigilant, to identify and hit the landing force in time.
πΉIn #Zaporozhye Direction, our forces are quietly recapturing their positions in the forest plantations near #Rabotino.
πΉIn #SouthDonetsk Direction, after the liberation of the Zverinets fortified area, our troops are fighting along the forest belt, expanding the zone of control to the west and southwest. The next targets are the AFU positions on the #Maryinka - #Novomikhaylovka road section. They will open the way to the #Mashinostroitel village north of the #Novomikhayloka headquarters, which will give fire control over the supply road for the AFU garrison in #Novomikhaylovka.
πΉIn #Donetsk Direction,. to the north of the #Avdeyevka industrial zone, our military successfully cut off the ledge and leveled the frontline. Under the pressure of our army, the AFU retreated. According to data from the field, ours advanced in #Pervomayskoye by ~1.5 km, north of #Opytnoye up to 0.5, with a front width of 1.3 km. The AFU counterattacked at Tsarskaya Okhota and nearby, but ours stood strong and confidently fought back. The AFU counterattacks on armor on the streets of Chernyshevsky, Sportivnaya and Sobornaya, ours are holding on. An important clarification. The AFU reported that our forces occupied the former air defence base. This is not the case yet. The site is in a semi-circle, but not taken. From there, the AFU are countering our offensive on #Avdeyevka from the side of #Opytnoye.
πΉIn #Bakhmut Directions, our forces are consolidating their positions. There is no change on the ground, but the artillery is relentless on both sides.
πΉIn #Svatovo Direction, in the #Seversk sector, the same situation as for #Bakhmut. In the #Liman sector, our forces are advancing on #Terny and #Yampolovka. There are significant successes. In a day ours have retaken several positions that covered the approaches to the villages. In the #Kupyansk sector, #Tabayevka has become the 36th liberated settlement of the #Kharkov region. Yesterday, our troops fought for the heights to the northwest in order to break into #Peschanoye, where the AFU retreated. But the AFU were able to push them back to #Tabayevka. Today, gritting our teeth, we took control of both the heights and the southern landings towards #Peschanoye and #Kotlyarovka village.
β οΈ Grads hit #Donetsk again, 3 people were killed and 3 injured. 5 drones were shot down/intercepted in the frontline areas. In the Belgorod region, the AFU shelling continues, there are wounded.
π₯ At night, our Aerospace Forces repeatedly hit the #Kremenchuk Refinery. I would like to know about the consequences.

π¬π§ πΊπ¦ The man who has no money will die for the British crown
βͺοΈThe new Russian tactic is to strip the enemy's reserves and strike at his weak points. The enemy localizes the blows, reallocates reserves from other sectors, and then the Russians strike in another sector. There are already many such sectors.
βͺοΈThatβs why Ukraine has problems. The Russians are not concentrating the attack as Ukraine did before, for example, when persistently pounding at the road in the area of Zaporozhye.
The Russian tactics are fundamentally different, and yield more results.
βͺοΈOne example of these breakthroughs bothering Ukraine now, is in the Kupyansk sector. The fighting continued all weekend, and Russian troops managed to advance. Unfortunately, yesterday, another breakthrough attempt failed, but the results are still impressive, especially if we compare the summer offensive of the AFU and Russian successes here within a few days.
βͺοΈRussia had a breakthrough in the Donetsk sector, now probing enemy positions in the Liman area.
βͺοΈWe see a classic neo-colonial administration by Great Britain on the territory of one of its colonial appendages. Great Britain has always been famous for minimizing its expenses and improving results at the expense of the colony'so internal resources. The British expend no extra money. The Americans are not in a hurry to give money. British agents, like Dmytro Natalukha, head of the Ukrainian economic committee, being an MI6 agent, optimizes the expenses.
βͺοΈHow to manage not to pay, but make Ukrainians die en masse? First, we apply pressure with mobilization, drive everyone into hiding, and then we allow some people to pay off the military. A businessman, a private citizen, can pay $1.2-1.3k per month not to be touched. For large enterprises the cost is about $200 per month for one draft age employee.
And Britain pays nothing, meaning some Ukrainians pay for the others. The man who has no money, will die for the British crown.

"What war could mean for life in modern Britain": British media are already figuring out how their island will live during a war with Russia - without imports, Brits will lose weight and they won't be able to watch Netflix because of hackers.
"It's 2034 and Britain is at war with Russia. After an uneasy peace with Ukraine, Moscow has sent troops into the Baltics, clashing with British troops based there to protect NATO's eastern flank. Russian submarines are attacking shipping across the English Channel, with missiles striking Dover and Southampton. The Kremlin is preparing for an invasion.

GAMSUTL, DAGESTAN
A village in Dagestan. It is located on the Tsamtichay river, almost one and a half thousand meters above sea level. In the past the village was quite populated and had a very developed infrastructure: in the last century there were stores, a small hospital and a maternity ward.
About four decades ago, the inhabitants of Gamsutl village began to gradually leave the village for larger and less inaccessible settlements. Subsequently, the village became deserted, with the last inhabitant passing away in 2015.
