Predators among caterpillars are extremely rare - no more than one percent. This one, of the genus Eupithecia, chews leaves just like its relatives - but it does not eat them, but carves an opening in the leaf for itself. Once hidden, it hunts flies and flies with ease.

A Lewis gun is manned by Indian troops in Mesopotamia in 1918, colourized. The gun was designed in the US and was perfected and mass-produced in the United Kingdom. It was widely used by British and British Empire troops during the war.
