Nobody painted these glowing pink springharesโtheir Day-Glo is all natural.
๐ด Glowing lights in nature arenโt limited to fireflies and glowworms. A new study published in Nature last month discovered vivid pink biofluorescence in two different species of springhares, both found on the African continent.
๐ด Biofluorescence generally describes the process during which particles in an organismโs tissues absorb short-wavelength, high-energy light, and after keeping some of that energy for itself, shoots the wave back out at a lower energy and thus a longer wavelength. Short wavelengths like UV and blue light go in, then are emitted as longer wavelengths of red, orange, yellow, and green light.
๐ด This colorful light show has been observed in fireflies, fish, reptiles, amphibians and birds. Three groups of nocturnal mammalsโNew World flying squirrels, New World marsupial opossums, and the monotreme duck-billed platypusโhave also displayed biofluorescence in previous studies.

Human Brain vs Dolphin Brain ๐ง
Dolphin brains are four to five times larger than what is expected for their body size when compared to other animals of similar size. Scientist believe dolphins should be granted rights as individuals as they are "non-human persons" given their complex behavior patterns. Research confirmed that dolphins come together to solve difficult problems, and even use tactics to round up fish to eat. They can even teach other new behaviors.
Whale and dolphin brains contain specialized brain cells called spindle neurons. These are associated with advanced abilities such as recognising, remembering, reasoning, communicating, perceiving, adapting to change, problem-solving and understanding. So it seems they are deep thinkers! Not only that, but the part of their brain which processes emotions (limbic system) appears to be more complex than our own.

Automated bots build IKEA furniture
Researchers at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) have created a robot capable of assembling IKEA furniture twice as fast as a human.
The bot consists of two manipulators with force sensors and 3D cameras. It assembles a simple chair in 20 minutes, whereas a person could spend up to 45 minutes on the same task.
The bot takes a lot of time to p from the kit.
