▫️ Inflation in 2022 around the world

According to the most recent data (June-July 2022 for most countries), there are very few countries left with inflation below 5%. China, Japan, Indonesia, Switzerland, the Gulf States and a few smaller countries in different parts of the world. But not long ago, most of the countries in the generalized West were in this group! Now inflation in most of them is noticeably above 5% and sometimes 10%.

In some countries, the situation is close to catastrophic: in Turkey, prices rose by almost 80% for the year, in Argentina - 71%, in Iran - 54%, in some African countries (and in Venezuela, which is not marked on the graph), the figures are even higher
