Welwitschia mirabilis is a plant species that can live up to 1,000 or even 2,000 thousand years. It is found in Namibia and Angola. It grows only 2 leaves that can reach lengths up to 4m (13ft). The leaves help to gather humidity from the desert where they thrive.
