Should they have throw that caution on the last lap? Yes or no?

If they would’ve kept the race green they probably would’ve crashed in the tri oval coming to the finish.
Anyone Know Who This is?

Can someone help identify who this is, thought maybe Alex Palou.
Dad’s older coworker is/has been an Indy fan for many years. He just gifted me all this for free!
Reddit - Dive into anything (Reddit)

Quick backstory: My dad told his coworker that I bought him and I tickets to go to the Long Beach Grand Prix this year, his coworker was very excited for us and asked my dad if I’d be interested in some “90’s-00’s Indy stuff” and my dad of course said yes. This is all that was gifted to me.

Just started getting into Indy. Thought yall would enjoy!
sawalich now 27th out of 29 full time xfinity drivers in points, is it time to worry about him?

william sawalich drops to 28th in points (27th/29 full timers) in points after the xfinity race at talladega, is it time to speculate if gibbs will give him the boot?
The hard truth
Reddit - Dive into anything (Reddit)

People talk about fixing the next gen car but you can't fix it. It doesn't matter how much horsepower or downforce or what not you have. The way the next gen car is constructed it is not constructed for good racing. There is way too much grip and drag built into the car. Taking off the flat underbody would render the car completely undrivable given the design.
Is it too early to call William Sawalich a bust?
Reddit - Dive into anything (Reddit)

I know we're only 1/3 of the way through the season, but I'm pretty ready to give up on William Sawalich as a prospect. While he performed like a champion in ARCA, so did Sammy Smith, and Smith's performances were lackluster to okay to start (even then, he still made the playoffs). Sawalich's truck starts from 2024 onward were less than impressive, with only 1 top 10 in his last 13 starts. Now we're 11 races into a 33 race season. Sawalich has barely had pace to run top 10, with only 2 top 10's in this period. He's averaging worse than 24th place a race, and he is only above Kris Wright among full-time drivers. Like I said, I know that we're still kind of early, but I don't see how this could get any better. Even J.J. Yeley, JGR's most notable busts, was still able to finish better than this in his Busch stint.

Cleatus

Shout out to Cleatus McFarland. Besides being dialed in with NASCAR’s official socials, if you search anything about Talladega Cleatus pops up in the first 3 hits.

Mofo is killing it on social media and bringing NASCAR along for ride.
