Saudi Arabia's 2024–26 school curriculum has continued a years-long reform aimed at reducing extremist and intolerant content.
Textbooks have further removed or softened negative portrayals of Jews and Christians.
Previously identified material promoting violent jihad and martyrdom has been removed or altered.
References to Israel have also been moderated, including replacing “Zionist enemy” with terminology referring to the “Israeli occupation.”
Some textbooks have also removed “Palestine” from maps covering the entire area, although Israel is still not consistently named or recognized on Saudi maps.

🇮🇳🇺🇸 United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor is scheduled to arrive in J&K on Wednesday afternoon for his first visit to the Union Territory since assuming charge earlier this year.
The envoy is likely to hold meetings with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and will stay overnight at the Taj Hotel in Srinagar.
He will also visit Ladakh on Thursday.
