In 2019, in Sinaloa, Mexico, five young men suspected being car thieves were found dead.

Each of the victims had a number of toy cars placed on top of their bodies, which local media claim is a representation of how many cars they had stolen. 

All of the victims killed were between the ages of 20 and 30, and their bodies showed signs of torture.
