GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The General Assembly (GA) organ is the largest organ within the United Nations. GA is also the broadest organ and engages with a wide plethora of diverse political, economic, and social issues on an international scale. The General Assembly is one of the six main organs of the United Nations and the only one in which all Member States have equal representation to discuss and work together on a wide array of international issues covered by the UN Charter, such as development, peace and security, and international law.

HUMAN RIGHTS

The Human Rights Council (UNHRC) an intergovernmental United Nations body responsible for the promotion and the protection of Human Rights around the world. The council’s role is to investigate breaches and violations of human rights and make recommendations on how they should be addressed. Furthermore the UNHRC stands for a promotion of our fundamental and basic rights and freedoms as humans at an international legal level.

SECURITY COUNCIL

One of the most famous international body, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), is a “classic” in every Model United Nations conference. Security Council is responsible for addressing all issues threatening international peace and security. The Security Council must work to create effective resolutions with clear and powerful language that will have tangible results in the real world. In facing this immense responsibility, the committee will utilize several tools of diplomacy usually unavailable to any other agency.

The United States Senate🇺🇳

The United States Senate is the upper chamber of the United States Congress, with the House of Representatives being the lower chamber. Together they compose the national bicameral legislature of the United States.

During an "MUN conference", students learn about diplomacy, international relations, the United Nations and other international organizations. MUN teaches its participants, called "Delegates", researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, teamwork, and cultural empathy.

📃All delegates will receive commemorative certificates. The most distinguished and active delegates will receive special awards!
