Some people argue that university students should stay at home with their families during their studies, while others believe they should move away to live independently. I acknowledge that living at home can offer financial and emotional benefits for certain students, but overall I contend that living independently provides broader advantages in terms of personal development and career prospects.

Living away from home forces young people to take responsibility for everyday tasks such as budgeting, cooking and time management, skills that are difficult to acquire if one remains dependent on family. Moreover, students who relocate — whether to a different city or country — are exposed to diverse cultures and viewpoints, which enhances their social adaptability and often leads to stronger professional networks. For example, living with classmates in shared accommodation frequently teaches negotiation and cooperation, qualities highly valued by employers.


On the other hand, staying at home can substantially reduce living costs and relieve emotional pressure, especially for students from low-income backgrounds or those with family obligations. It can also enable some students to concentrate on demanding courses without the distraction of household responsibilities. Nonetheless, prolonged dependence may limit opportunities to develop independent problem-solving skills and reduce exposure to internships or part-time work in other cities.


In conclusion, while remaining at home is a sensible choice for some students due to financial or family reasons, I believe that moving out generally offers more long-term benefits for most university students. Policymakers and universities should therefore focus on making affordable accommodation and support services available so that students can gain independence without excessive financial burden.

📍چند فعل عبارتی (phrasal verb) شبیه run out of که پرکاربرد هستن و معنی‌شون شبیه «تمام شدن یا کم آوردن چیزی» هست برات می‌ذارم:

💢use up
معنی: مصرف کردن کامل چیزی
مثال: I’ve used up all the paper for printing.
یعنی: همه کاغذهای چاپ رو مصرف کردم.
💢finish off
معنی: تمام کردن چیزی تا آخر
مثال: She finished off the cake by herself!
یعنی: خودش کیک را کامل تمام کرد!
💢get through
معنی: تمام کردن چیزی، معمولاً کار یا مواد
مثال: We got through all the cookies in one day.
یعنی: تمام شیرینی‌ها را در یک روز تمام کردیم.
💢burn through
معنی: سریع مصرف کردن چیزی
مثال: He burned through his savings in just a few months.
یعنی: در عرض چند ماه پس‌اندازش را تمام کرد.
💢be out of
معنی: نداشتن چیزی، تمام شدن چیزی
مثال: We are out of milk.
یعنی: شیرمون تموم شده.

🔑 نکته: تفاوت formal و informal در رایتینگ آیلتس

در بخش IELTS Writing Task 2 (مقاله‌نویسی)، زبان شما باید رسمی (formal) باشه. استفاده از کلمات یا عبارت‌های محاوره‌ای باعث کاهش نمره میشه.

📌 اشتباه رایج (informal):
A lot of people think…
Kids these days…

📌 نسخه صحیح (formal):
Many people believe…
Children nowadays…

✅ یادآوری:
از contraction ها (مثل don’t, won’t, can’t) در Task 2 استفاده نکنید.
اما در Speaking test برعکس! طبیعی صحبت کنید و contraction به کار ببرید، چون طبیعی‌تر و روان‌تر به نظر می‌رسه.

To make your writing sound more natural and fluent, use different linking words instead of repeating the same ones.

✅ Instead of always saying "because", try:

✅ Instead of always saying "but", use:

💡 Example:

🔹 Assure vs. Ensure vs. Insure
این سه کلمه شبیه‌هم هستن، ولی معنی‌هاشون کمی با هم فرق دارن 👇

1️⃣ Assure → یعنی «اطمینان دادن» یا «رفع شک کردن»
➡️ I assure you that everything will be fine.
💬 من بهت اطمینان می‌دم که همه چیز خوب میشه.

2️⃣ Ensure → یعنی «مطمئن شدن از وقوع چیزی»
➡️ Please ensure that the door is locked.
💬 لطفاً مطمئن شو که در قفل شده.

3️⃣ Insure → یعنی «بیمه کردن» (معمولاً از نظر مالی)
➡️ We need to insure the car before traveling.
💬 باید ماشین رو بیمه کنیم قبل از سفر.

💡 نکته طلایی:
👉 به یه آدم assure می‌دی،
👉 از وقوع یه اتفاق ensure می‌شی،
👉 یه وسیله یا دارایی رو insure می‌کنی.

✅ Better way:
Use synonyms and paraphrasing to show a wider vocabulary range.

مثلاً به جای:
People like watching movies.
می‌تونی بگی:

یا
People are fond of watching movies.

💡 Tip:
در تسک ۲، ممتحن به تنوع لغاتت خیلی توجه می‌کنه. پس حتماً از دیکشنری سینونیم استفاده کن و تمرین paraphrasing رو تو برنامه‌ت بذار.

👩 Customer: Good morning! I’d like to open a savings account. What documents do I need?
صبح بخیر! می‌خوام یه حساب پس‌انداز باز کنم. چه مدارکی لازمه؟

👨‍💼 Banker: You’ll need an ID and proof of address. Would you like to apply for a debit or credit card as well?
کارت شناسایی و مدرک آدرس لازمه. آیا می‌خواین برای کارت نقدی یا اعتباری هم درخواست بدین؟

این باعث میشه متن تکراری و ساده به نظر برسه.
