۵ راه کاهش استرس آیلتس (تجربه های عملی مهندس ابوالقاسمی از شرکت در ۳ آزمون آیلتس)

تا لحظه نگارش این نوشتار ۳ بار در آزمون آیلتس شرکت کرده ام که یک بار آن در سال ۲۰۰۸، و ۲ بار دیگر با فاصله کمتر از ۲ ماه در اسفند ۹۴ و اردیبهشت ۹۵ بوده اند که تصاویری از کارنامه های آن ها را در زیر میبینید. مواجه با استرس و فشار های روانی برای من و دیگر آزمون دهندگان در این ۳ آزمون و گفتگوی رو در رو با صدها زبان آموز کلاس های خصوصی که تجربه همسانی داشتند دلیل نگارش این نوشتار است تا بتوان راهکارهایی هوشمندانه برای کاهش استرس این آزمون برشمرد.

۱٫ کوشش برای عملکرد و اندیشه منطقی در روزهای پیش از آزمون(ثبت نام به هنگام، زمانبندی درست، مشاوره گرفتن)

یکی از بزرگترین عوامل پدید آورنده فشار روانی نزدیک شدن به روز آزمون و نداشتن آمادگی کافی در یک یا چند مهارت است. اتفاقی که برای خود من در سال ۲۰۰۸ در هندوستان روی داد. گرچه نام نویسی من بطور منطقی انجام شد و روی زمانبندی هم تقریبا خوب کار کرده بودم، ولی با اینهمه در هفته های آخر همچنان برای رایتینگ آماده نبودم و این باعث میشد حتی در مهارت های دیگر هم روحیه و جسارت لازم را نداشته باشم و از صد ها ساعت مطالعه نتیجه لازم را نگیرم. همان اندازه مطالعه با توصیه های مناسب تر یا کلاس های فشرده تر در هفته های آخر میتوانست برای من تا یک نمره افزایش در رایتینگ را بهمراه داشته باشد.
توصیه من اینکه که ثبت نام خود را با برنامه ریزی و بجا انجام دهید. بخردانه است اگر روزانه ۵ تا ۶ ساعت مطالعه دارید، برای هر یک نمره افزایش در آیلتس ۳ ماه در نظر بگیرید. همچنین اگر ۱٫۵ ماه مانده به آزمون حس آماده نبودن دارید سریعا از یک استاد خصوصی یا آموزشگاهی مشاوره و طرح درس بگیرید تا به هدررفت زمان و خراب شدن آزمون تان نیانجامد. هچنین بیاد داشته باشید بسیاری از مدرسان خصوصی آیلتس و حتی برخی مدرسان کلاس های آنلاین در برابر دریافت یک جلسه کلاس خدمات مشاوره و برنامه ریزی برای شما را نیز به حرفه ای ترین شکل انجام خواهند داد.

ساختار be used to

به این معناست که علمی در گذشته بصورت تکرار انجام شده و رویداد آن چیز غیر معمول یا غیر منتظره ای شمرده نمیشود.

I am used to living alone.
She is used to working in cold environments.
Don’t worry! They are used to driving for long hours.

توجه کنید فعلی که بعد از To به کار میرود باید ing فرم باشد چون to حرف اضافه است.
ساختار get used to
این ساختار نشان میدهد عملی در حال تبدیل شدن به یک چیز معمول است! نمونه ها را ببینید:
Canada was so cold for him at first, but he got used to it.
He had a lot of problems adjusting to unfriendly atmosphere of Tehran, but he got used to it.
I’m sure he will get used to working for 10 hours a day.
بعد از هر دو ساختار Be used to و get used to بجز ing میتوان از اسم هم استفاده کرد.

He will get used to noise soon.

آشنایی با پسوند ها و پیشوند ها

بسیاری از لغات کلیدی زبان انگلیسی دارای پیشوند یا “prefix” و پسوند یا “suffix” می باشند که به آغاز و پایان واژگان افزوده میشوند و معنا یا کارکرد دستوری آن ها را دگرگون میکنند. در ادامه به این بخش ها میپردازیم:

پیشوند ها (Prefixes)

پیشوند یکی از مهم ترین بخش ها در رویارویی و بررسی اولیه واژه های ناآشنایی است که در آزمون های آیلتس و تافل با آن ها روبرو میشویم. پیشوند ها “بخش” هایی هستند که به بخش آغازین هر واژه افزوده شده و معنای آن را تغییر میدهند. از این رو دانستن معنای پیشوند ها و کارکرد آن ها میتواند در بسیاری موارد به معنای درک کردن یا حدس زدن واژه های ناآشنا باشد. جدول زیر نمونه هایی از متداول ترین پیشوند های زبان انگلیسی را بهمراه معنا و نمونه هایی از واژگان دارای این پسوند ها پهرست کرده است.

Prefixes in English for IELTS TOEFL در بسیاری از موارد میتوان با افزودن پیشوند های منفی کننده، معنای متضاد واژه مورد نظر را بدست آورد. گرچه اینکه کدام پیشوند به کدام واژه افزوده میشود قاعده مشخص و آشکاری برای فرمول نویسی ندارد ولی میتواند در حدس زدن معنی واژه ۱۰۰% سودند باشد. به واژه های زیر نگاه کنید:

dishonest, unhappy, undo, insane, illegal, irrelevant, impossible, nonsense

توجه داشته باشید به ویژه اگر به تازگی آموختن زبان انگلیسی را آغاز کرده اید، در بررسی پیشوند ها همیشه باید یک ارتباط منطقی میان پیشوند و معنی واژه وجود داشته باشد وگرنه شانس زیادی هست که در براورد خود دچار خطا شده باشید. برای مثال تمامی کلمه هایی که با پیشوند های “un” یا “post” آغاز میشوند همیشه ترکیبی از یک واژه پایه و پیشوند نمیباشند. واژه هایی همچون unit یا postcode را در نظر بگیرید که یک واژه بدون پیشوند هستند! پس این بررسی ها همیشه باید هوشمندانه صورت گیرد و از یادگرفتن فرمولی و حفظی قواعد زبان انگلیسی همیشه بپرهیزید.

پسوند ها(prefixes)

در زمان بررسی و واکاوی واژه های تازه و ناآشنا، پسوند ها از دیگر اجزای با اهمیت کلمات به شمار میروند. پسوند ها اجزایی هستند که به انتهای واژه ها افزوده میشوند ولی برخلاف پیشوند ها معنای کلمات را تغییر نمیدهند و معمولا نقش دستوری واژه ها را دگرگون میکنند.

در این فیلم آموزشی به شناساندن signpost ها یا واژگان راهنما در لیسنینگ پرداخته میشود. واژگان راهنما یا کلیدواژه ها در بخش لیسنینگ آیلتس اهمیت بسیاری دارند چرا که با توجه با چهارچوب کلی بخش لیسنینگ، شرکت کننده باید در لحظه شنیدن واژه مورد نظر بیدرنگ آن را یادداشت نماید. واژه های راهنما یا کلیدواژه(signpost)ها کمک بسیاری به شنونده میکنند تا ایشان بتواند واژه های پیش رو و جنس آن ها را حدس زده و با توجه به درک خود از پرسش مطرح شده، پاسخ را که معمولا ۱ یا ۲ واژه است “شکار” نماید.
