Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given two maps showing the students’ common room in 2010 and now. We were asked to make comparisons and describe the changes.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some people believe that adults should follow their traditional culture. Others, however, think that it is not necessary in the modern society. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Speaking test

Interview

– What is your full name?
– Can I see your ID?
– Where are you from?
– Do you work or study?
– What subject are you studying?
– Describe your hometown.

Cue Card

Talk about a large company in your country that you know. Please say

Reading test

Passage 1. A topic regarding resort booking.

Passage 2. About the Fire Safety Officer.

Passage 3. Don’t remember.

Passage 4. About Australian ants and their mating habits.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You recently received a job offer in a different country. Write a letter to your friend who is living in that country and say:

– Explain why you were looking for a job.
– Describe your new job.
– Ask him/her about the country.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Children nowadays have fewer responsibilities compared to the past. Some people say it is beneficial for children, others claim it is not a good approach. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
