Section 1. A conversation between a lady and an employment agency representative about a part time job and its requirements.

Section 2, 3, 4. Don’t remember.

Reading test

Passage 1. About a transport system and subway in particular.
Questions: filling in blanks.

Passage 2. About three different types of sculptures.
Questions: True/False/Not Given.

Passage 3. About different medical studies of older people and their brain activity.
Questions: match information to paragraphs.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a table showing the percentage of population over the age of 60 in six different regions around the world.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays children are consuming too many sugar-based drinks. What are the reasons and the solutions for this situation?

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were asked write a report on a given table showing the expenses on water consumption in five major cities in Australia in 2004.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Academic institutions should only deal with academic studies and passing examinations. Skills such as cookery, woodwork, tailoring are better to be taught at home by family members and friends. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your own experience.
