Some people think that it is a good idea to socialize with work colleagues during evenings and weekends. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Many company managers advocate for socialisation of their employees outside work. Even though this practice can be beneficial for companies  and workers alike, I believe there are more worthwhile activities to take part in.

Socialising with co-workers may prove advantageous in some regards. First, it can foster a positive working environment. As people share their leisure time activities with their colleagues, feelings of trust and mutual understanding ensue, cementing mutual relationships between job partners. This, in turn, can not only relieve job stress and pressure from heavy workloads , but simultaneously boost productivity and output in the workplace. Second, socialising with associates tends to hone interpersonal skills. This is because individuals who interact with their co-workers beyond work hours often develop such essential skills as communication, negotiation, public speaking, and conflict resolution, all of which are useful abilities outside their working lives. Seemingly, this type of practice aids professional and social development.

However, people should attach greater importance to their families and hobbies. If the average person spend beyond 8 hours at work worldwide, this means that we do not have quality time for our marital and parental responsibilities. Hardly can parents maintain healthy connections with their children and spouse when they do not even dedicate their weekends and evenings to them. Besides, almost everyone is now stressed from overwork and familial problems, and enjoyable pastimes like visiting a museum, reading books, and shopping tend to relieve negative feelings of stress and exhaustion. Were it not for enjoyable free-time activities, people would be unable to regulate their mood, and depression could possibly dominate the world. Clearly, work-life balance plays a crucial role in our daily life.

In conclusion, though socialising with associates may help create a better job atmosphere and enhance social skills, I place more significance on such activities as becoming in the company of our family members and engaging in whatever we are passionate about.

Nowadays, children get addicted to their cell phones and waste a lot of time through them on a regular basis. This phenomenon can be attributed to technological advancements and the inherent attraction of smartphones. However, this trend can have negative effects on children’s health and relationships.

People face the state-of-the-art technology and equipment every day and innovators create new things to absorb individuals and keep their markets profitable. Smart phone is one of these devices which mostly gets up-to-date and offer attractive abilities that absorb all of the people especially children. For instance, they have access to the internet and search whatever they want, play games, watch videos, stay in contact with their friends, or take videos and photos. These diverse functionalities make smart phones appealing for children who are usually more adopted to it.

Excessive use of smartphones can diversely affect children’s lives. Firstly, it is incredibly time-consuming and distract them from their studies. This means, they neglect their homework and academic responsibilities which can result in poor grades and get failed in their educational year. Secondly, it will have detrimental consequences on their health. For example, the blue light emitted by screens can make worse effects on their eyes and brains, make them weak or leading to sleep disorders.

In conclusion, cell phones can have negative impacts on both children education and health, if they utilized it uncontrollably and this happens because of its attraction and adverse abilities that has.

In recent years, children spend a huge amount of their time on mobilephones each day. This is mainly because a wide range of applications is offered to children by entertaining cooperation. I see this trend more negative as it may bring about some problems for new generation in long run.

There are two key reason why children are spending a lot of time on their smartphones. Firstly, children are used to have sedentary lifestyle and it is more convenient for them to just seat on a chair and gaze for several hours at the screen of their smartphones watching different series and movies or playing online game than doing some phisical activities. Secondly, they have an overwhelming number of applications on their phones which can entertain them. Take, for instance, my cousine ,who is just 10 years old, has about twenty applications on her smartphone just for playing game.

In my opinion, spending too much time on smartphones is a detrimental trend which may have negative consequences for children’s future. Scrolling through social media, children attention would wander and their concentration would waver. So, when they want to study, they need more time to understand a topic. They also could not excel at school and ,consequently, they will lost their interest in education which could be problematic for their future as adults when they want to find a appropriate job. Another reason is that the more children spend their daily time on their handies, the less time is available for communicating with their friends and family. Little do they learn about interpersonal skill, they would have troubles not only in their personal life, but in their professional lives when they grown up.

In conclusion, although many children may enjoy playing or searching on the Internet with their smartphones, I believe this trend would have damaging effects on their communicational and educational skills.
