The given graph illustrates information regarding the proportion of urban population in four Asian countries over a period of fifty years from 1970 to 2020. The graph also includes procrastinations for 2030 and 2040.

Overall, what stands out from the graph is that more and more people immigrated to cities from 1970 onwards. The number of those who live in cities in all countries (the Philipines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia) showed an upward trend and is predicted to grow even more in the following decades.

Back in 1970, approximately 30% of total population of the Philipines and Malaysia lived in cities and the rest of people located in rural areas. While the number of urban residants of the Philipines peaked to more than 70% in 2020, less than half of Malaysians chose to live in the cities. However, the figures anticipated to increase to more than 80% for the former and 60% for tha latter in 2040.

Both Thailand and Indonesia experienced a gradual rise in terms of city inhabitants, Although the statistics for Indinesia were a bit sharper. Whereas both countries had less than 20% of their population living in urban regions, in the next 50 years, their urban residents grew to 30% and 50% respectively in 2020.

The line graph illustrates some information about proportion of people who live in four Asian countries between 1970 and 2020 with prediction by 2040.

Overall, we can see the most increasing trend in Malaysia and the least in Thailand.

In Malaysia we can see this amount steadily increase and it is predicted to reach approximately 80% until 2040. In 1970, Thailand had the lowest percentage of population living in cities ,around 14% and it is predicted to rise about 60% in 2040. Moreover, the highest percentage of people was for Philippines in 1970, the proportion had a slight increase until 1980 but after this year the percentage fluctuated . It climbed up to nearly 50% in 1990 but the percentage fell to about 40% in 2010. At least it predicted to grow again around 55% by 2040. In Thailand the percentage of total population was just under 20%. in addition, we had slow upward trend until 2010. after that it remained steady until 2020 but the percentage is predicted to have significant growth around 45% by 2040.

These days many people are moving from countryside to big towns from all walks of life, so the population in megacities is growing . I consider it anegative development and in this essay argues both side.

In today's societies most people tend to live in convenient situation where all their needs are provided by the country with adequate facilities. For instance, some people prefer to have the best quality in education, treatment or entertainment. To have all of these in a package ,you have to live in a country that is big and developed .However, moving to an advanced country not only offers many possibilities but also presents some difficulties , both economically and socially .

Generally, living in progressive countries have some problems for people and societies . One of the most important issue that societies deal with in big cities is overpopulation . Congested cities have lots of problem. For example, in our country many people think living in Tehran is great because of the numerous opportunities it offers .In case that , sometimes you may face with lack of medicine in pandemic due to throng of sick people .In addition when you want to go anywhere in over crowded cities , you often get stuck in traffic jam especially during the day.

In conclusion, societies should think about fundamental solution for extending countryside . They can provide rural areas with facilities such as job opportunities , medical center and variety of hobbies that people won't have to migrate to big cities for their basic needs .

In addition, the predictions show that this trend will be continued slightly from 2030 to 2040 in both countries.

Malaysia and Philippines started at around 30%. Malaysia reached to the peak almost 75% in 2020, but Philippines fluctuated through the years and finally in 2020 the amount of people can get to around 40 percent or just over. The population’s predictions in both Malaysia and Philippines indicate a slightly growth for 2030 and 2040.

The population of the megacities are increasing gradually. The figures for people who live in the countryside are declined globally due to translocation of their inhabitants to the large cities. This essay will explain how this issue affects on the countries’ development and will argue both negative and positive sides.

Every body has some primary needs which include educational, medical and recreational facilities. In addition, each person must have an appropriate occupation to make their living. When people can not find suitable job and as the result can not response to their need, and also if their living area does not have good facilities so they will decide to change their home. This affair leads to numerous problems such as disappearing rural jobs, getting old of the population in the countryside and etc. Also, this problem can prevent of the improvements in many villages.

On the other hand, some people may suppose this event as a positive development. They just see one side that the person who moves to the big city has better life than before. Individuals have more access to main facilities like hospitals, educational centers, entertainments areas and more than other things they have more chance to achieve their dream. However, these dilemmas can be solved by governments. Governments should do more investing in rural areas

In conclusion, translocation of rural people is considered as both negative and positive development. This essay thinks that the drawbacks of this movement not only outcome but also cause to new concerns. Furthermore, authorities can solve the people’s problems to prevent their movement.

Increasing the average life expectancy of people all around the world, has raised concerns for some who think aged people put excessive strains on the states. However, some others believe that the society would benefit, if we have more aged people. In my opinion, the elderly is beneficial both for governments and society and even young people.

Although, many believe that aging population bring about some serious issues for government, arguing that they limit the available job opportunities for younger generation which lead to increment of unemployment rate. However, in recent time young people have shown great tendency toward occupation in social media, being a blogger or influencer, as well as freelancing. This means governments have fewer, if ever, work force available for substituting in their organizations. Additionally, people who live longer pay more tax and retire later. The more people work during their life, the less governments should pay less for their healthcare service.

Another positive aspect about people who live longer is that they not only perform their tasks in work place more efficiently, but they also less time for doing their responsibilities. As older people gained more experience and they have done a special task several times, there are more proficient. Accordingly, they do it more quickly than their younger peers. Whereas, the young work force is still in trial and error phase and need supervisors supports for doing their jobs. In my country, for example, it must have about five years ago when a project of shopping mall construction in the capital collapsed in the first stage. consequently, they were forced to demolish the construction and planned it again with more experienced and professional architects. Thus, aged people are not only a burden, but a valuable asset for the society.

In conclusion, I do believe that the aged people are a precious asset for both governments and societies.
